Program Overview
Computer Engineering is one of the programs contained in Computing Curricula (computer
curriculum guide) for study program (majors) Computer Systems or Computer Engineering.
Produce graduates who are able to design and implement systems that integrate both software
and hardware.
University of Amikom Yogyakarta, aware that the quality of student input is not the same as
the student of PTN which is popular in Indonesia. "Unlikely" students Amikom University of
Yogyakarta will be able to compete with students of PTN for the same science that taught in
Prodi Computer Engineering.
Based on the experience of fostering and developing the potential of students, from "ordinary"
students to "excellent superior man" - Amikom University of Yogyakarta designed a
"different" curriculum for Prodi Computer Engineering to be able to produce "global" quality
graduates that the future industry needs, competing, confident, have integrity, high skill and
extensive knowledge in computer science, especially: "Cybersecurity" & "Forensic Digital"
and "Internet of Things" (IoT).
Focus Area: Cybersecurity (start from Academic Year 2017/2018) and IoT (starting in AY
2018/2019), Computer Engineering of Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta is ready to produce
graduates who have unique skills that are indispensable but rare in the job market industry.
