• DEFINE- the gap from expected results, the current trend and time-bound
objectives.
D • Define - the stakeholders & process structures and project owners

• MEASURE – key metrics, current result, quality, speed, time, defects/


bottlenecks & cost of current process.
M • Find real evidence, facts, numbers to validate situation at real site

• ANALYZE – Look beyond symptoms. Find the root causes of symptoms.


• Analyze from the real site, not from paper reports only. Analyze with the team

• IMPROVE – with causes identified, brainstorm actions and plans for short term
and long term process improvement.
