I. Introduction
What is Techknowledgy? How did the class U3B come up with this campaign?
U3B began the Techknowledgy campaign after observing how students responded to
the digitization of De La Salle Lipa. Wi-fi was made available throughout the campus for
students and teachers to make us of the institution's new Learning Management System
(LMS). Students were then encouraged to bring their own devices to make use of this new
learning platform.
Findings revealed that college students and senior high school students are using their
gadgets during class for non-educational purposes such as accessing social networking
sites. Techknowledgy aims to address this problem by promoting the usage of technology
for the school's original intention: a better learning experience. By raising the awareness of
students about this issue, we will encourage proper gadget usage and productivity during
class to mold a Techknowledgic Lasallian community.
II. Rationale
This coming November 6, 2017, the class of U3B will start their campaign that
promotes the benefit of using gadgets in the field of education.
