RESPONSIBILLITIES

 To oversee and manage the Construction Discipline Managers in the execution and performance of
their respective functions related to the work progress, technical quality and allocated budget /
resources. Resolving conflicts in the areas of interfaces between the disciplines.

JV Deputy Project Manager (RAMPCO Project Manager)

This project was awarded to Galfar and RAMPCO Oman UNINCORPORATED Joint venture to perform major
turnaround of ORPIC Sohar Refinery in March 2013. Sohar refinery, Oman’s largest oil refinery is located in east of
Oman with a capacity of 106,000 BBD. The turnaround had been done with employing more than 2500 workers and
specialists.

Project Handled:

 Preparation works such as checking and execution of pre-shutdown requirements i.e.; equipment, tools, facilities
and miscellaneous fabrication works.
 General Shutdown works such us blinding & de-blinding, opening, provision of low voltage explosion proof
lightings, pull-out, un-loading / re-loading of medias, sieving / re-classification, cleaning, reinstall, box-up,
defects rectification & repairs and testing of all Stationary Equipment, and other equipment including Reactor
and Regenerator, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Fin Fan Coolers, Vessels, Piping and etc..
 The turnaround had been done with employing more than 2500 workers and specialists.

RAMPCO as main construction contractor preformed supply of construction materials, steel structure and equipment
erection, piping, electrical and instrumentation, pre-commissioning of 2,000,000 Ton/Year Olefin Plant in two train.

This project was completed by MES (Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding) and RAMPCO consortium to execute
Lump Sum Turn Key project of Mehr Petrochemical Company in Assaluyeh Pars Special Economic Energy Zone
(PSEEZ), Iran

Project Handled:
Grant License and to furnish the Process Design Package, Basic and Detail Engineering, Supply and delivery of
equipment, construction, erection, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of 300,000 Ton/Year HDPE
Plant with total cost of 182 Mn USD. RAMPCO portion was civil detail design, local procurement, construction,
erection and installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning assistance.

Client of this project was Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone (PETZONE) and scope of work was
infrastructure including piling, civil and steel structure of piperack and pipeline to connecting Bandar Imam
Petrochemical Co. (BIPC) to all other petrochemical plant inside PETZONE. This project had been executed in live
plant condition with crossing of existing facilities and roads.
