Hence it is also a ﻀﺎﻑ ِﺇ َﻟﻴ ِﻪ َ ُﻣin the Arabic language. So, when the pronoun
َ ﻀﺎﻑ ُﻣ
joins a noun then we get ﻀﺎﻑ ِﺇﻟَﻴ ِﻪ َ ُﻣ. See example below.
َ ﻀﺎﻑ ُﻣ
In the above table َﺎﺏ َ ُﻣand is in َﻣ ْﺮﻓُﻮﻉcase while the endings ,ِ ﻱ, ُﻛ ْﻢ, َ ﻙ, ﻫُﻢ,ُﻩ
ُ ِﻛﺘis ﻀﺎﻑ
ﻧَﺎare the attached pronouns. These attached pronouns are َﻣﺠْ ُﺮﻭﺭand ﻀﺎﻑ ِﺇﻟَﻴ ِﻪ َ ُﻣ.
Exercises
The letter ﻱis Ya Mutakallim (Ya of First person). It is the attached personal
pronoun for the detached personal pronoun ﺃَﻧَــﺎ. Consider the below table.
In the phrase ﺑَــﻴْــ ِﺘــﻲthere are two words. Its translation is “my house”. The house
( )ﺑَﻴﺖin this phrase is ﻉ ْ ُــﺮﻓ
ٌ ــﻮ ْ َﻣ. But because of the power Ya Mutakallim, the
dammah of ُ ﺑَــﻴْــﺖbecomes kathrah. Thus ُ ﺑَــﻴْــﺖin ﺑَــﻴْــﺘِــﻲis ﻉ ْ ُــﺮﻓ
ٌ ــﻮ ْ َﻣ. This same thing
applies to all the Muzaaf Muzaaf iliahi’s with Ya Mutakallim. Such a thing our
eyes cannot see but our mind can see if we understand.

This topic is very important to understand. We know that, the preposition will
make the noun after it into َﻣﺠْ ُﺮﻭﺭcase. So if preposition comes before ﻀﺎﻑ
َ ﻀﺎﻑ ُﻣ
َ ُﻣ
ِﺇﻟَﻴﻪthen it will make ﻀﺎﻑ
َ ُﻣinto َﻣﺠْ ُﺮﻭﺭcase. Example is below.
