• Use characteristic values to describe customer requirements
• Assign characteristics to class
• Create variant class with class type 300 - Tcode CL02 Maintained

Step2:
Create Material master with configurable type

b) Assign class to material in "Classification view"
b) Material with configurable indicator in MRP-2 view
