IMPORTANT NOTE:
In order to prevent the bank from closing your International Student Account you (Degree AND Exchange students) are
required to submit a Dutch Social Security Number (BurgerServiceNummer, BSN). You will receive this number after registration
with town hall.

When you receive your BSN please add it to your account through Internet Banking. A manual with a clear step-by-step
procedure will be handed to you during the Arrival Day(s).
If ABN AMRO has not received your BSN by October 1st 2017 your debitcard will be deactivated. You can only reactivate your
debitcard if you visit the ABN AMRO (Tilburg Heuvelring). Bring your BSN and identification (passport of European identity
card). In case the ABN Amro has not received the BSN by November 1st 2017 your account will be closed. Please note you will
not receive any reminders in this respect.
