Aim: To create graph database from SQL database provided by client and find a suitable use case
• Compared various graph databases and decided to use GraphFrame
• Setup a new Azure Cluster solely for Spark and GraphFrame and built a recommendation system based on two parameters
• Built three versions of code using Spark (using graph functions) / Spark+Hive+Sqoop / Spark (without using graph functions)
• Compared them on the basis of processing time and plotted the resulting graph after importing it in Gephi

Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery |IIT KANPUR (Prof. Faiz Hamid) (May-June, ’16)
Aim: To build a customer churn prediction model for Telecommunication Company
• Developed a predictive churn model in ‘R’ for a fictitious wireless telecom company Cell2Cell using Machine Learning
Techniques on a dataset of 71047 tuples and 79 attributes
• Identified the most important factors that drove Customer Churning by implementing linear regression, rough set theory,
decision tree algorithms and support vector machine
• Used insights from the above factors to suggest the retention offers to be made to High Churn Risk customers.
Computer Aided Decision System | IIT KANPUR (Prof. Deepu Philip) (Jan – April, ‘17)
Aim: To create an online version of Bank Account Opening form from the given paper form
• Drafted a wireframe after designing a more presentable and ‘easy to use’ sequence for the multipage form
• Created a 3N form database in SQL to store customer and bank’s data
• Built an interactive website for application and approval of form using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP
