Language
In the beginning of his enrolment at xxxx, his interaction and communication with
teacher and friends are quite minimal. The only person that he comfortable with is xxxx
and most of the time they always be seen together.
During class sessions, he less talk and avoiding eye contact with teacher and friends.
Initially, I found him as a shy boy and quite reserved towards himself.
However, after having more interactive sessions with teacher and friends, he started to
give good responses and cooperation. He is beginning to get involved in classroom
activities and with peer to peer/student-teacher conversation. For example, he speaks
comfortably with teacher and ask questions in able to initiate conversation

These are some initiatives taken by the teacher:

1) I always encourage him to talk and express his feelings. In the classroom, we
conducting session in English and if he doesn’t understand, the teacher will
translate in it Bahasa Melayu.
2) During the activities, I led him to participate and give ideas. These will increase
his confidence level.
3) I will ask him to work in pair to encourage communication and interaction skills.
4) I often organise interactive activities such storytelling, singing, rhymes, role play
etc.
5) Promoting conversation with him by asking him about what he has done on the
previous sessions and assisting him to speak using materials such book.
Cognitive
When he first started his learning activities, he was able to sort and classify simple
objects.
He manages to count basic numeric accordingly (1-10). He also can recognise basic
geometric shapes.
In addition, I guided him how to create and recognise pattern (objects, colors, etc) and
by comparing and differentiating things. The activities provided him basic knowledge and
understanding about numbers and problem solving skills.
He observed and explored different materials (sand, water, etc ) and environment (hot,
cold, plant, surface etc).
The students also participated in outdoor activities in order to expose them into real
life.
Some activities require them to imagine and imitate the actions (fly like a bird, swim like
a fish etc). These will promote their understanding and imagination towards the subject.
In overall, his focus towards his work is good. He is such a meticulous person and
concentrates to his work. He always tries to ensure that he did a good job. He showed
his interest by giving feedback and describes the activities he has done.

Physical
Earlier his participation in fun activities is minimal. After a while, he started to join in
the group.
In terms of skills, he can move and balance himself like normal children.
I conducted eye and hands coordination activities such as throwing, catching, dancing
according to videos etc. The activities are supported by props such as bean bags, ball,
balloons etc.
From those activities he slowly gained his confident and start to express happy
expression. On top of that, he learned about good values such as taking turn, helping
friends, never give up and patient.

Emotions
Based on my observation towards him, he is a considerate person and showed his respect
to others.
As at now I can say that he learned to demonstrate positive values towards himself and
willing to accept challenges.
He also considers taking responsible to his actions. He is now being more independent in
such a way he is able to take care of his personal belongings and things in his class.
He managed to work and play cooperatively with others and able to do things
independent when necessary.
