D. Open Public Meetings Statement

The notice requirements provided for in the “Open Public Meetings Act” have
been satisfied. Notice of this meeting was properly given in a notice which was
transmitted to the Times of Trenton and the Trentonian, filed with the Clerk of the
Township of Ewing and posted in the Ewing Township Municipal Complex, all on
the 8th day of January, 2010.

G. CONSENT AGENDA

1. Authorization for the Chief Financial Officer to pay Township bills in the
amount of $675,421.14.

2. Approval of minutes of the meeting of September 13th, 2010 (Agenda) and


September 14th, 2010 (Regular).

3. A Resolution authorizing a Refund, as recommended by the Tax Collector in


the amount of $509.69 for October 1, 2010 sewer bill to Bergner, Sharon, 315
Beechwood Avenue, Ewing, NJ 08618, for property owner Bergner, Sharon
for Block: 310 Lot: 6 also known as 315 Beechwood Avenue for
overpayment.
4. A Resolution authorizing the Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. to hold a
parade for the purpose of a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on October 30th,
2010 starting at 9:30 a.m.

5. A Resolution authorizing the conduct of an off premise 50/50 cash raffle


sponsored by Boheme Opera Guild, Inc. to be held on December 5th, 2010.

6. A Resolution authorizing the conduct of an off premise 50/50 cash raffle


sponsored by the Sunshine Foundation to be held on Saturday, November
24th, 2010 starting at 6:30 pm.

7. A Resolution authorizing the conduct of an instant raffle sponsored by BPOE


Trenton #105 to be held from October 17th, 2010 to October 16th, 2010.

8. A Resolution authorizing the conduct of an on premise merchandise raffle


sponsored by the NJ Reefers Club, Inc. to be held on November 6th, 2010 at
the West Trenton Ballroom.

1. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED GENERAL MUNICIPAL


ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EWING IN THE COUNTY OF
MERCER, TO DESIGNATE NO STOPPING OR STANDING ON BETH
ANN WAY (2010)

I. ORDINANCE(S) FOR SECOND READING, PUBLIC HEARING AND FINAL


ADOPTION

1. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED GENERAL MUNICIPAL


ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EWING TO ESTABLISH A
HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE IN FRONT OF 5 NEW HILLCREST
AVENUE (2010)

2. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING RENEWAL OF MUNICIPAL CONSENT


TO COMCAST TO CONSTRUCT, CONNECT, OPERATE AND
MAINTAIN A CABLE TELEVISION AND COMMUNICATIONS
SYSTEM IN THE TOWNSHIP OF EWING (2010)

J. NEW BUSINESS

1. A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 002 TO DE SAPIO


CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE LOUIS I. KAHN
TRENTON BATH HOUSE AND DAY CAMP PAVILIONS AT THE EWING
SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTER.

2. A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER TO S. BROTHERS, INC. FOR


ROAD IMPROVEMENTS TO RIVERVIEW DRIVE.

3. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF A PROFESSIONAL


SERVICES CONTRACT FOR LEGAL SERVICES TO CHARLES WALDRON,
LLC.

4. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RIGHT OF WAY


AGREEMENT WITH FIBER TECHNOLOGIES NETWORKS, LLC FOR THE
INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF TELECOMMUNICATION
FACILITIES WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF EWING
TOWNSHIP.

5. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FROM THE


GARDEN STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION TRUST FUND
ADMINISTERED BY THE NEW JERSEY HISTORIC TRUST IN THE AMOUNT
OF $18,348.00 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MAINTENANCE MANUAL
FOR THE TRENTON BATH HOUSE AND DAY CAMP PAVILIONS AT THE
EWING SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTER.
6. A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:4-59 TO AUTHORIZE THE
TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION RESERVES.

CYO Executive Director, Thomas Mladenettz will discuss the next two
items.
7. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF A LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE CYO OF MERCER COUNTY.

8. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF A PUBLIC DONOR


AGREEMENT WITH THE CYO OF MERCER COUNTY.
