Application:
Diffuser is designed for air conditioning of rooms
with floor to ceiling height of 3 to 12 m and high
induction requirements. It is suitable for large
temperature difference between supply and room air.
Description:
Diffuser is made of housing which has a diffusing
funnel mounted at the bottom. The direction of the
discharge air is altered via the separately
adjustable blades. The shape of the diffuser’s
inner part allows “Coanda effect”.
Housing consists of steel aluminium and blades
of pickled sheet steel. Complete diffuser is
powder painted in RAL 9010 or any colour upon
customer’s request.

AFV - 8
Application:
AFV-8 housing with Hepa filter is used in supply or extract air applications in
air conditioning and ventilating installations of the rooms with highest
demands regarding air cleanness. Hepa filters of H10 to H14 class prevent the
intake or exhaust of particles larger then 0.3 Um. They can be installed
as follows:
air supply and extract in laboratories
air supply and extract in operating rooms, infection - and sterile departments
air supply in electronics, precision mechanics, chemistry pharmaceutics
and food industry
air supply in film and audio tape industry
air supply and extract in nuclear technology etc.
Description:
1 AFV-8G Hepa filter housing is made filter housing, standard difusers
KD-6, OD-8 or OD-9 and Hepa filter. Filter is fitted with
washer of a rectangular cross-section. Housing of steel sheet is air tight
welded according to DIN 1946 and coloured in RAL 7001. Two pressure
gauge attachments for measuring of a pressure drop are incorporated into the
2 housing. Diffusers made of sheet steel are coloured in white (RAL 9010).
AFV-8 housing has a special sealing frame designed to perform sit tightness
test.
Component parts:
1. Housing
2. Hepa filter
3 3. Diffuser
Types:
The following houings AFV-8 are possible:
with circular side entry spigot (AFV-8 RS) (fig. 1, table 1)
with circular top entry spigot (AFV-8 RV) (fig. 2, table 2)
with rectangular side entry spigot (AFV-8 KS) (fig. 3, table 3)
Application
On the housing with absolute filter AFV-8 a shut-off damper ZL-2 is installed in
the housing connection. The shut-off damper ZL-2 conforms to the DIN 1946/4
Detail A
standard requirements.
The advantage of such a combination of an Hepa filter houing and shut-off
1 2 3
damper is the ability to close the shut-off damper during the filter exchange and
thereby to prevent room air pollution. Upon the completion of the filter
exchange, the shut-off damper is reopened. Such a filter exchange procedure
eliminates the need to disinfect the room, which is mandatory in the case of
exchanging the filter without shutting-off the inlet of non-filtered air.
A
77.5 A 40
Description
On the connection of the standard AFV-8 housings, a galvanised sheet steel
shut-off damper is mounted by means of four screws. The damper may be
controlled either manually or by means of an electric motor.
Components:
1. AFV-8/RS, RV
2. ZL-2
3. electric motor (with spring)

systems in rooms which require absolutely clean air. They can be used for
both, air supply and extract applications . Hepa filters stop the particles as
larger as 0.3 Um if they conform H14 class or even 0.12 Um if they conform
U15 and U16 classes.
Applications:
Installation:
* PAO (before :DOP) connection on the housing top section AFV-8G housing is constructed to fit into suspended ceilings.
** Pressure drop test
Description:
On the connection of the standard AFV-8G housings, a galvanised sheet steel

VS - 4
Application:
VS-4 supply air nozzles are suitable for supplying
either cold or warm air into rooms in applications
requiring large throw distances and low noise
levels. By arranging several nozzles in a block, the
throw distance can be increased accordingly.
Several installation methods are applicable.
Description:
Supply air nozzles VS-4 are adjustable. The air jet
injection can be adjusted either
manually within +30 in all directions or
with electromotor within +30 in vertical or
horizontal direction.
Adjusting depends on temperature oscillation.
VS-4 supply air nozzles are made of anodised
sheet aluminium. On customers request, they can
be powder painted in any of the RAL scale colours.
