organizing the 12th CK CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL OPEN TAEKWONDO
CHAMPIONSHIP 2018, from the 23 –26th August and it will be held in Stadium
Malawati, Shah Alam , Selangor. Malaysia.

This championship is sanctioned by the National body, Taekwondo Malaysia

(WTF). The following invited countries are Australia, New Zealand, Thailand,
Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Nepal, Iran,
Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Burma, China, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Libya, Sri
Lanka, India and Afghanistan.

To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia – a bubbling, bustling melting pot of races

and religions where Malays, Indians, Chinese and many other ethnic groups live
together in peace and harmony. Our multiculturalism has made Malaysia a
gastronomical paradise and home to hundreds of colourful festivals.

We are taking this opportunity to invite your Taekwondo Organization to

participate in this prestigious event. It will be a good opportunity for your athletes
to test their skills and excel further in high standard competition like this. We
Taekwondo family would be able to extend our international relationship amongst
our Taekwondo members.

4. COMPETITION RULES WTF system - using ESS & PSS System.

1. Only Junior & Open Category – semi final and final- PSS.
2. Participant can only compete in one weight category in
Gyurogi, in 9-11 and cadet division.
Junior 15-17 category can take part in open category.
3. Participant can compete in both Gyurogi and Poomsae.
4. During weighing in please bring copy of ID.
5. Organizer will provide PSS trunk protector and electronic
headgear. Sensor socks and other protective equipment must be
own by the athlete. Sensor socks can be rented at RM30.
6. Coaches wearing casual clothes, shorts, jeans and slippers are
not allowed to coach.
7. Poomsae competitors can wear gyurogy or poomsae uniform
during contest.

CONTEST Full contact knockout elimination tournament comprising.
Kyorogi
18 years and above - Open 0pen - 3 rounds of 2 minutes each round and 1 minute rest
15–17 Years – Junior Junior - 3 rounds of 1 ½ minutes with 45 seconds rest
12–14 Years – Cadet Cadet - 3 round of 1 minute with 30 minute rest
9–11 Years – Super Junior Super junior - 2 round of 1 ½ minute with 30 seconds rest

11. TRANSPORTATION Airport pick up to the hotel and from Hotel to Airport will be

12. PARTICIPATION FEES US$ 270.00 for each participant/official/coach/guardian.

ADDITIONAL US$ 25.00 if the juniors want to compete in senior
category or poomsae.

INDEMNITIES It shall be the responsibility of the participants from the

respective affiliates to have already validly completed the
participation forms and have them signed indemnifying the
Organizing Committee, its officials and other contestants from
any claims of injuries, losses, fatal or otherwise arising in the
course of participation in this championship or any other

All participants below the age of 18 should be approved and
signed by parents/guardians.
It shall be the responsibility of the respective affiliates to ensure
that participants and officials are covered with effective
insurance coverage.

14. SPARRING EQUIPMENT The Organizer will not provide Protective equipment for ESS
such as:
Mouth guard, forearms and shins guard, Vest and Headgear is
compulsory and will not be provided by the Organizer.
