This document contains forms for assessing training needs for computer hardware servicing. Form 1.1 is a self-assessment checklist for core competencies like installing, configuring, diagnosing, and maintaining computer systems and networks. Form 1.2 provides evidence of current competencies. Form 1.3 summarizes current competencies against required competencies to identify training gaps. Form 1.4 converts these gaps into specific training needs and modules. A sample training plan is then provided to address the identified needs over a set number of hours through on-the-job and dual training methods assessed through hands-on demonstration and observation.
