CLEAN INTERMITTENT CATHETERIZATION (CIC) PROCEDURE

FEMALE AND MALE

PURPOSE: To ensure periodic emptying of urine from a student's bladder.


ACTION TO BE PERFORMED BY: A person who has been trained by a licensed health care
professional and successfully completed a skills check.
ACTION POINTS OF EMPHASIS
