Workshop 5 Model With Solids, Plates and Beams: WS5 - 1 NAS105, Workshop 5, May 2005
This document provides instructions for a Nastran workshop involving modeling with solids, plates, and beams. Students are asked to run a provided Nastran input file, examine the results for rigid body modes and why they exist, and debug the model by setting parameters to eliminate extra rigid body modes or adding constraint commands between parts. Solution files are provided to test different approaches to debugging the model.
