DEPED CONTINGENCY PLANNING GUIDE

I. BACKGROUND

(State the background of your AOR such as geography, economy and others in
relation to the hazard being presented in this plan.)

II. OBJECTIVES

This 2017 Contingency Plan covers No. of schools in the Division of ___________.
It focuses on earthquake and its related hazards.”

The main objectives of this plan are the following:

 Present the nature of hazards and its possible impacts.


 Identify the capacities and vulnerabilities of schools and divisions as to
impact of disaster.
 Establish a coordination and information management protocol as a
preparedness measure before, during and after a disaster.
 Strengthen collaboration with partners on the implementation of the plan.

III. HAZARDS
 Prioritization of the hazard/s for this Contingency Plan is based on the
hazard map/s of the Province of _____________developed together with
MGB, NEDA and PAGASA’s Climate Outlook and Tropical Cyclone and
Rainfall Forecasts for 2016.
 Include also the latest updates on the development of the existing
hazards.
 Present the data provided by the proper authorities and relevant offices.
