PROBLEM
Most of the students had difficulties in their examination and didn’t reach the passing score in both
subjects.

Conclusions and Recommendations:

Conclusion
SCIENCE

According to the results, we can conclude that most of the students did not make the passing
score which is 38. And 75% of the students are below or equal to 36 which mean the scores of the
students are lower than expected. Out of 46 students, only 8 of the students passed the test which is
equivalent to 17.39% and 82.61% of the students failed.

ENGLISH

According to the results, we can conclude that most of the students did not make the passing
score which is 38. And 75% of the students are below 36 which mean the scores of the students are
lower than expected. Out of 46 students, only 7 passed the test which is equivalent to 15.22% and
84.78% failed.

If we will compare the 2 subjects which both have a mean score of 36 in 75% of the students, given that
the passing score is 38 out of 50 items, we can conclude that more students failed both Science and
English subject than those who passed both. The scores of the students in Science are spread out
compare to their scores in English. This means that the range of their scores in Science is higher than the
range in English.

Recommendation
SCIENCE

The students should have more mastery on the lessons the teacher is teaching. An orientation can also
be recommended in which students will be oriented individually on their difficulties and conflicts on
understanding their lessons. Such as Gas Laws, Biomolecules, Chemical Reaction.

ENGLISH

The teacher should ask the students about the lessons they find difficult and guide them to understand
it more and make good performances. The students should focus on the lessons such as Figure of
Speech, The Little Prince and methods of conducting research.
