    Greetings!

    As a result of the globalization of Korea and the spread of Hallyu, organizations such as
    Hallyup and UP Arirang from the University of the Philippines Diliman exist to showcase their
    passion for Korea and Korean entertainment through enthusiastic activities.

    UP Arirang is a premier Filipino – Korean Students’ Friendship Organization in the


    University of the Philippines – Diliman, founded in 2006 that desires to promote cultural
    understanding and exchange among the Filipino and Korean students in the University.
    The University of the Philippines Society of Students for Korean Popular Culture,
    also known as HallyUP serves as an avenue for students who share a passion for Korean popular
    culture to meet, create bonds, and promote appreciation for the Korean popular culture and of
    general interests related to it.
    In line with the university’s mission to give students a chance to acquire knowledge
    outside the classroom setting and provide a holistic education to students, the Alternative
    Classroom Learning Experience or ACLE is held by the University Student Council every
    semester. HallyUP and UP Arirang, as organizations desiring to promote the Korean culture to
    the UP community, have decided to collaborate in this semester’s ACLE focusing on Korean &
    Pinoy beauty, as well as on skin care. This event will be held on March 22, 2018 (Thursday),
    1:00PM-5:00PM at University of the Philippines, Diliman.

    To make this event successful, we would need assistance from sponsors. In return, to
    utilize the marketing and sales opportunities the event presents, we give you sponsor-specific
    benefits. Details of the partnership packages available are included in the following pages of
    this letter. We also encourage you to send a speaker to discuss about Korean cuisine specifically
    the ones featured in Korean dramas.

    The benefits indicated in the proposal are open to negotiation. If you have any questions
    or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned. The deadline for confirmation is on
    March 19, 2018 (Monday).
