VIDEO GAMES HISTORY

The videogames is the most biggest industry of enterntaiment in all the world since their
begenning the videogames were made like a simples machines for example: the games
created in decadet of the 50 consist in a simple misions and objectives. Even the
videogames were not created for the entertaiment, they had the objective of be a
simulator wich distract the people in luxurious places because for this age, this
techonology was simple and expensive.
Later the videogames continued deveeloping, born in that process the new techonologies
of enternaiment in graphics and the complex of the design and the missions, this was the
begenning for the videogames like we known in the actually.
Like the best examples of the succes of the videogames evolutions, we have: Pacman,
Tetris and the popular Mario Bross.

The development of videogames is the process that takes place from the
initial concept in development to the conclusion of this in its final version.
It is multidisciplinary activity that can vary from a person to large industry
they financie a distributor and take a few years for their develpment.
TYPES OF CURRENT CONSOLES
NINTENDO SWITCH
The Nintendo switch is a hybrid console, it has the DNA of three decades of video games, it is
easier to take it to different places because of its light weight. In this console you can play on the
TV, and you can also disarm it to turn it into a Tablet and play in the place of your preference
making it a very pleasant experience.
XBOX ONE
The Xbox one is the most spectacular console from Microsoft, this version is Slim compared to the
Xbox 360, which looked like an old vhs. This console does not make noise, is totally silent, and has
a resolution of 4k, to watch movies and play in ultra hd.
PLAYSTATION 4
Unlike the Xbox one and the Nintendo switch play station 4 is the best selling, and has a processor
of 8 amd cores, also has the ability to share our game live and leave open the tickets for more
people to join game. Another of the known advantages of this console, is that it has the greatest
diversity of games.

I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THAT ON THE PC YOU CAN CURRENTLY PLAY MANY FAMOUS
GAMES THAT DO NOT EXIST IN THE PREVIOUS CONSOLES, WHY INVOLVE MANY
COMMANDS, AND YOUR GAIN IS IN THE SALE OF "ITEMS OF GAME", WHICH COULD COST
THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
Types of videogames.
1. Action
The player needs his ability to keep going on the game, a good example of this
abilities would be his skill in control and time reaction. This genre covers subgenres
such as:
- FPS first person shooter: call of duty, halo, half life

- TPS Third Person shooter: These games usually have a story

- Beatem up “Fighting action game or brawler”: they are based on hand-to-
hand combat. Tekken, bloddy roar, kof, street fither, mortal kombat

These games are mostly old. Some examples would be: Tetris, pac-man.

4. Strategy: It consists of plotting a strategy to overcome the opponent. They

demand concentration, know how to manage resources, think and define
strategies. Some subgenres are:
- RTS (Real Time Strategy):
They are those strategy games whose system is based on the actions of all
players taking place at the same time.

- MOBA: multiplayer online battle arena
The player controls only one character. The game group the players by teams and
the objective is to defeat the enemy base. Therefore, skill, strategy and
teamwork is what defines a strong team. Some examples would be:
Dota 2, Lol, Heros of the storm, Smite
5. Simulation: They allow to experiment and investigate the operation of

machines, and take command. So, you are the one who drives a plane, a car, a
skate, etc.

and whose goal is to follow the patterns of a song.

7. Survival horror: The goal of these games is to survive. They are games with
limited movements of the character and few resources (little ammunition,
little life ...). They seek psychological terror, through detailed scenarios, dark,
strange sounds, disturbing music, sudden appearance of enemies.

8. Puzzle: They are a genre of video games that are characterized by
demanding mental agility to the player; they can involve problems of logic,

A genre of skill where the player controls a character that must advance through
various fields overcoming various obstacles and enemies through jumps, bounces,
swings and in general all kinds of acrobatic movements, sometimes improved or
aided by special objects that collects on the way.

10.RPG Role playing game
They are characterized by its broad gameplay. The character goes up from levels as
the game progresses. They are set in an epic fantasy and the characters usually have
human or supernatural powers.

11.MMorpg Massive multiplayer online role player game: They are a subtype of
rpg games but unlike them they need servers that support enough users. This
is because it is played worldwide.

How to create video games.
to be able to create a video game you need to meet several requirements.

-know what platform the game will run on.
-have knowledge of various programming languages. for example: javaScript and c#.
-to have a staff that is in charge of the programming to reduce the work time.
-have a design staff to make the game look better.

-to have computers dedicated to the creation of games.
creating a game is not easy, with perseverance a team can finish a game from
months to 3 years (depending on the game).
lastly, bugs that may affect the game in its first release are sought.

the labor field is increasingly broad and safe. Video game design companies,
animation and digital design companies, audiovisual producers and post-producers,
advertising and marketing agencies, and the entertainment industry are just some of
