End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the

Cisco Catalyst 3750G, 3560G, 3750-E, and 3560-E
Series Switches
EOL8044 - Amended

Cisco announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco Catalyst 3750G,
3560G, 3750-E, and 3560-E Series Switches. The last day to order the affected
product(s) is January 30, 2013. Customers with active service contracts will continue
to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in
Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions,
and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected
by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support
contracts, support will be available until the termination date of the contract, even if
this date exceeds the Last Date of Support shown in Table 1.

Please note that the list price of some of the products listed in this announcement may increase in the next
12 months.

Milestone Definition Date

End-of-Life The date the document that announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life of a product is January 31, 2012
Announcement Date distributed to the general public.
End-of-Sale Date The last date to order the product through Cisco point-of-sale mechanisms. January 30, 2013
The product is no longer for sale after this date.

Last Ship Date: The last-possible ship date that can be requested of Cisco and/or its contract April 30, 2013
HW manufacturers. Actual ship date is dependent on lead time.
End of SW Maintenance The last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software maintenance January 30, 2014
Releases Date: releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering will no longer develop, repair,
HW maintain, or test the product software.
End of Routine Failure The last-possible date a routine failure analysis may be performed to determine the January 30, 2014
Analysis Date: cause of hardware product failure or defect.

End of New Service For equipment and software that is not covered by a service-and-support contract, January 30, 2014
Attachment Date: this is the last date to order a new service-and-support contract or add the equipment
HW and/or software to an existing service-and-support contract.
End of The last date that Cisco Engineering may release a planned maintenance release or January 30, 2016
Vulnerability/Security scheduled software remedy for a security vulnerability issue.

End of Service Contract The last date to extend or renew a service contract for the product. April 30, 2017
Renewal Date:
HW

Last Date of Support: The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this date, all support January 31, 2018
HW services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.

Product Migration Options

Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches.

Customers may be able to use the Cisco Technology Migration Program (TMP) where applicable to trade-in
eligible products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about
Cisco TMP, customers should work with their Cisco Partner or Cisco account team. Cisco Partners can find

Customers may be able to continue to purchase the Cisco Catalyst 3750G, 3560G, 3750-E, and 3560-E Series

limited supply for sale in certain countries on a first-come, first-served basis until the Last Date of Support has been
