Ee233 HW5

This document outlines the homework problems for EE233. It includes 5 circuit analysis problems to be completed. Problem 1 involves analyzing a circuit where a switch changes positions, problem 2 analyzes a circuit with a current source, problem 3 involves two circuits with sources energized, problem 4 analyzes a circuit's transfer function and responses to different inputs, and problem 5 analyzes an op amp circuit. Students are to construct s-domain models, use circuit analysis techniques like the initial and final value theorems, and determine outputs for various inputs to solve the problems.

Homework 5
Due: 0900 Tuesday 4 November, 2014
Problem 1

The switch in the circuit in the following figure has been in position a for a long time. At t = 0, it moves
instantaneously from a to b.

a. Construct the s-domain circuit for t > 0

b. Find V0(s)
c. Find v0 (t) for t ≥ 0

Problem 2

Find v0 in the circuit shown in Fig. 2 if ig = 5u(t) mA. There is no energy stored in the circuit at t = 0.
