(GRADE VII)

I. SUBJECT MATTER: “Supplemental Activities”

II. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

a. define supplemental activities correctly

b. apply the supplemental exercises properly.

c. demonstrate the kinds of supplemental activities.

III. LEARNING MATERIALS:

 Pictures (Illustrations with Instructions)


 Powerpoint Presentation
 Handouts/Copies

IV. LESSON PROPER

A. Prayer

B. Checking of Attendance

C. Motivation

 Review of the past lesson.


 Motivational Dance Exercise for motivation and warm – up.

D. Defining supplemental activities correctly

SUPPLEMENTAL

 Something added to complete a thing, make up for a deficiency, or


extend or strengthen the whole.

ACTIVITIES

 These are vigorous actions or movement.


E. Applying the supplemental exercises properly.

1. Flexibility Exercises

2. Strength and Endurance Exercises

3. Exercises for Coordination & Balance

F. Demonstrating the kinds of supplemental activities.

 “Group activity for performance of supplemental activities”

V. Evaluation

• The teacher will group the class into two. Each group will choose
their respective name.

• Each group will be given 5 minutes to practice the exercises based


on their hand outs.

• Each group has their own representative and this two


representatives will do “jack and poy” as means of determining the
first and second performer.

• The group who will perform will demonstrate the kind of exercises
the teacher has instructed, and there are 5 exercises in the
performance of each group.

VI. Assignment

• Make a daily record in a week on the duration of your daily


exercise.

• After one week exercising make a brief reflection on the changes


that you’ve experience.

• Write it in a short bond paper to be passed a week after.
