Dear Brother _________
As one of the Worship Leaders tasked to lead the CFC body to worship during any
CFC events. The following worship format/songs will be used/ practiced by the
Music Ministry (following the usual format of CFC corporate worship):
1. EXHORTATION
2. PRAISE and WORSHIP
...... 1st praise song - _________________________..... Followed by simultaneous
praising
...... 2nd praise song – ______________ __________ ..... Followed by praising in
tongues
....... Worship song – ________________________ ..... Followed by singing in
tongues
(If after the singing in tongues the worship leader still wants to have a 2nd
worship song, he can
say a prayer that will lead to the 2nd worship song – a short song followed
by singing in tongues.
Please inform us early as per notes below).
3. PRAYER FOR THANKSGIVING
4. PRAYER FOR CONCERNS
5. OUR FATHER (end with “For Yours is the kingdom the power and the glory now
and forever, Amen”)
6. HAIL MARY ... GLORY BE
NOTES:
1. The songs have been discerned using the theme of the talks during the event
and are familiar to the community from all areas so they can participate more
fully in the worship. Teaching of new songs is provided a fixed time slot in the
said event. You may however revise the songs; please ensure your revisions are
forwarded to the music ministry head (Name and email address) within a week
after receiving this email so it can be practiced and reproduced in a power point
visual for the event.
2. Please ensure that the whole worship is kept within a time frame of 15
minutes. The worship leader should carefully discern leadings by the Holy Spirit if
he has to extend the worship time frame to more than 15 minutes or change the
song line-up during the worship itself.
3. On the prayers for thanksgiving and for concerns, please try to ensure that
these are related specifically to the event. These need not be very specific
prayers as done in households.
