1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal). I need to
use checklist to assess my student in the centres while they are Working.
2. I need to focus more in my questions when I ask the students .

3. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used). I will use different types of
questions and I will use checklist to assess the student when they are working in the centres and observe
them when they are working .

4. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence). I will see the level of each child .

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

Circle time : Greeting the students and ask them about the weather and the day and the date . remind them
the rules of the classroom .

Review with students the letter that they took it before.

Explain for them that they will learn new sound .


Time: 15 min

Show children flash cards of words that start with letter f.

I will let the students to give me words that start with letter f and I will ask them to write letter f on the
board .

T : I will give each child plates with sand and sticks.

S : they will write letter f with their fingers or with the sticks.

T: I will give the whole group one pic pic of the flag of uae .

S: they will do finger print with the colours on the flag.

T: I will give each child big frog pic ,small , glue and scissors.

S : they will cut the shape of the frog and they will stick it on the frog pic.\

Extra activity : writing letter f

Gather the children again on the carpet and ask them what did they learn today?
