Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony

April 2-3, 2018

EMCEE SCRIPT

[ANNOUNCEMENT THAT CEREMONY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN]

EMCEE: The Buhangin Central Elementary School SPED Center Kindergarten


Moving Up Ceremony is about to begin. Before we begin this ceremony, we would
like to remind you to turn your cellphones to silent mode and be courteous around
you by refraining from talking aloud. During the presentation of graduates, we
encourage you to express your pride by applauding and cheering.

[INTRODUCTION]

EMCEE: Good morning everyone! Today is a day of rejoicing for it marks the first
step that every child must undertake to open up to another important stage of
their lives. It’s an honor to be here to this special event because today we
celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of our dear kindergarten pupils.

[PROCESSIONAL MARCH]

EMCEE: Parents, guardians, friends, welcome to the Kindergarten Moving Up


Ceremony! With so much cheer, let us all witness the entrance of the kindergarten
pupils, parents and teachers.

[NATIONAL ANTHEM AND PRAYER]

EMCEE: Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to
be followed by the prayer to be led by the selected kindergarten pupils.

[WELCOME ADDRESS]

EMCEE: Everyone please be seated. It’s always a pleasure to have family and
friends of our kindergarten pupils visiting us. Welcoming you here for today’s event
is especially meaningful as we honor our pupils and celebrate their achievements.
To formally welcome us all, may I call on Princess Pantonial for her welcome
address. Let us all give her a round of applause please.

[PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES]
EMCEE: Thank you for that wonderful welcome message, Princess. At this point,
I’m here to present the candidates for graduation to Ms. Jeanne Mosquito, our
kindergarten adviser who is representing our Schools Division Superintendent, Ma.
Ines C. Asuncion.

Good Morning! I have the honor to present to you the candidates for graduation of
Buhangin Central Elementary School SPED Center this school year 2017-2018,
composed of 14 boys and 17 girls with a total of 31.

I hereby petition the office of the District Supervisor to certify the completion
of the requirements of these candidates.

[CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF CANDIDATES]

By the authority vested in me as the representative of Br. Armin Luistro, FSC,


Secretary of the Department of Education through __________________,
Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent and having been
presented by the ____ and duly certified by the district supervisor that you have
completed the basic requirements prescribed by the Department of Education
under the Basic Education Curriculum, I now confirm you kindergarten pupils
Completers of Buhangin Central Elementary School SpEd Center for school year
2017-2018.

Congratulations!

[DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES]

EMCEE: Dear pupils, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The
fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be receiving
your prized diploma, a symbol of accomplishment. May I request Ms. Jeanne
Mosquito for the distribution of certificates to the candidates and personally
congratulate them after they’ve received it.

[RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENTS]

EMCEE: Congratulations pupils! Ladies and gentlemen, one of the primary reasons
of having this event is to recognize those pupils with their achievements. May we
request the parents or guardians to please join the pupils in receiving their awards.

EMCEE: And to start with …. (see list)

EMCEE: Congratulations once again to the kindergarten pupils. I bet your parents
are indeed so proud of your achievements. No doubt of that, I’m sure!

[MOVING UP SONG]

EMCEE: Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions and feels with the
movement of time. Now, let’s all sit back and enjoy as we watch the kindergarten
pupils sing their Moving Up song, the Kindergarten Pangako. May we request the
pupils to come to the front.

(singing)
EMCEE: That was an awesome delivery of lines and melody and I hope our guests
think the same.

[TRIBUTE TO THE PARENTS]


EMCEE: The pupils would have not reached this far, if not because of the people
beside them. Parents play an important role in every child’s life because they are
their learning models. The attitude of parents towards education can inspire them
and can make them have an idea on how to take charge of their own educational
journey. At this point, the pupils would wish to take this opportunity to thank you
parents/guardians one way or another for your unending support.

EMCEE: Thank you so much parents and guardians for your undying support to the
children.

[FAREWELL]
EMCEE: The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and
opportunities await our pupils that will further test their mettle as growing
individuals. As they continue with their journey, may they look back to this stage in
their life with fondness and pride. Ladies and gentlemen, the pupils to sing “I’m
Ready to Go!” song.

[RECESSIONAL]
EMCEE: We would like to congratulate the pupils on reaching this milestone and for
doing a great job in learning and growing to be the wonderful children that they
are.

Congratulations class of 2018!! We wish you the very best on your journey ahead!
