Subject: Study tour for Attock oil Refinery Limited

I hope this letter will find you in good health and spirit. The purpose of this letter is
to request you to kindly facilitate the arrangement of a study tour of Mechanical Engineering
students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME), Pakistan Institute of
Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad.

PIEAS being ‘Top ranked Engineering University of Pakistan’ as per HEC


rankings continuously strives to expose the student to facilities of practical importance in
engineering so as to strengthen their theoretical concepts studied in the class rooms. In this
regard, we have identified ‘ARL’ facility as an ideal site for a study tour of our students.

Our visiting teams will consist of fifty students (50) and one (1) faculty members
and we propose May 10, 2018 (Thursday) to be the day of our visit to ARL. The details of the
students are given in ANXI-1. The focal person at PIEAS is Rizwan Alim Mufti
