This source is about about Jackie Robinson being brave. Jackie never let the

yelling at the game stop him, it just made him work harder. Jackie soon became

friends with some of his white friends. Peoples minds started changing and

thinking that he deserved to play for the dodgers.This source will help me

because there is explanation on how he started to talking and becoming friends

with the white people.

racist slurs that were thrown at him. Jackie never shared or discussed the stress

he was going through. At times he would eat very little and would also go to

sleep very late. This source would further help on my project because it explain

the emotion he had to faced through.

baseball, football, basketball , and track. He was Jackie Robinson left before his
senior year. It was not like other star athletes signing multi-million contract with a

major league baseball franchise. “It seemed very necessary for me to relieve

some of my mother’s financial burdens,” he wrote. This source will help me

because it will further explain why he left his senior at college and his

achievements.

15 the whole major baseball league teams wears the number 42. This is day to

remember for everyone and Jimmy Rollins said "it was special to be a black

player on the Dodgers. I was even a little envious of those guys, especially on

Jackie Robinson Day." This was a day to bring back the civil rights era. This

source will help me because it will show how powerful Jackie Robinson fight was

between the whites and how every respects and acknowledges him.

Robinson was denied at the hotel room his team stayed at. Their fans also sent

vulgar threats and racist chants. The city council of Philadelphia resolved it by

recognizing him on April 15 on his lifetime achievements. This source will help
me because I can show on my project day the city who hated Jackie the most

and how they resolved it.

was only for the African american. Having a book to resource is great because it

gives his lifetime sorry of what he had to go through.This helped my research
