This article is based on biblical verses.

The Bible says that men are limited in their intelligence.
They need God's help in all their achievements.
But the believer should only pray to the true God.
God listens to the prayer of the wise man and acts to help him.

1-What happens when one addresses his prayer to any god?

He who does it lives in darkness. He is not saved.
Assemble and come, come together, escaped from the nations! They have no understanding,
those who carry their idol of wood, and who invoke a god unable to save. (Isaiah 45:20)

2- Can man change the will of God with his prayers?

Yes. God acts in this case by love and not by constraint. He is not subject to the will of the
man.Yoshua by prayer stopped the course of the sun
Then Joshua spoke to Yod He Vav He, the day that Yod He Vav He delivered the Amorites to
the children of Israel, and he said in the presence of Israel: Sun, stop on Gabaon, And you,
moon, on the valley of Aijalon! And the sun stopped, and the moon hung its course, until the
nation took vengeance on its enemies. Is it not written in the book of the Just? The sun
stopped in the middle of the sky, and did not hasten to lie down, almost a whole day. There
was no day like this, neither before nor after, when Yod He Vav He listened to the voice of a
man; for Yod He Vav He fought for Israel. (Joshua 10: 12-14)
God responds and acts when He is prayed..
For I know the plans that I have formed for you, says Yod He Vav He, projects of peace and
not of misfortune, to give you a future and hope. You will call upon me, and you will
leave; you will pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and you will find me, if
you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says Yod He Vav He, and I will bring
back your captives; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have
driven you out, says Yod He Vav He, and I will bring you back to the place from which I
made you go into captivity. (Jeremiah 29: 11-14)

3- Why does the Spirit of God help men in their prayers?

Man is limited in his intelligence. He needs the help of God in everything he does.
In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness because we do not know what to ask in
our prayers. But the Spirit Himself intercedes by inexpressible sighs; and he who searches the
hearts knows the thought of the Spirit, because it is according to God that he intercedes for the
saints. (Romans 8: 26-27)

4- Did Yeshuah pray God during his ministry? What does this imply ?
Yeshuah prayed incessantly. He even taught how to pray God. This implies that He is not
equal to God, to His Father.
And he went away a second time, and prayed, My father, if it be not possible for this cup to
go away without my drinking, that your will be done. (Matthew 26:42)
While they were eating, Yeshua took bread; And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and
gave it to the disciples, saying, Take, eat, this is my body. (Matthew 26:26)
All the people being baptized, Yeshua was also baptized; and while he was praying, the sky
opened (Luke 3:21)
And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another comforter, that he may abide with
you forever (John 14:16).
It is for them that I pray. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me,
because they are yours; (John 17: 9)
So little children were brought to him, to lay their hands on them and pray for them. But the
disciples rejected them. (Matthew 19:13)
Yeshua prayed one day in a certain place. When he had finished, one of his disciples said to
him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples. (Luke 11: 1)

5- Did God , the Father of Yeshuah deliver a prayer his Son Yeshuah?
It was Yeshuah who was submitted to his Father. His Father is greater than him. God is the
head of Messiah Yeshuah. Naturally, the Son prayed the Father.
Here is how you should pray: Our Father who is in heaven! Hallowed be thy name; may your
kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily
bread; forgive us our trespasses, as we also forgive those who have offended us; do not induce
us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For it is to you that reign, power, and
glory belong in all ages. Amen! (Matthew 6: 9-13)

6- What attitude should men have during prayer?

There is not a standard attitude that is required. Men have always prayed in different ways in
submission and humility.
Kneeling
But when we were at the end of the seven days, we went to leave, and all accompanied us
with their wives and children to the outside of the city. We knelt down on the shore, and we
prayed. (Acts 21: 5)
Ahab went up to eat and drink. But Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and, leaning on the
ground, he put his face between his knees, (1 Kings 18:42)
After thus speaking, he knelt down and prayed with them all. (Ac 20:36)
Eyes raised to the sky
Yeshua took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed
them. Then he broke them, and gave them to the disciples, to give them to the crowd.
(Luke 9:16)
Singing
In the middle of the night, Paul and Silas prayed and sang the praises of God, and the
prisoners heard them. (Acts 16:25)
Some people do long prayers for appearance.
He said to them in his teaching: "Beware of scribes who love to walk in long robes, and to be
saluted in public places; who seek the first seats in the synagogues, and the first places in the
feasts; who devour the houses of widows, and make long prayers for appearance. They will be
judged more severely. (Mark 12: 38-40)
Some believers prayed standing.
All Judah stood before Yod He Vav He, with their grandchildren, their wives, and their
sons. (2 Chronicles 20:13)
The disciples prayed by Spirit.
Make at all times by the Spirit all kinds of prayers and supplications. Watch this with
complete perseverance, and pray for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18)
For you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, and praying by the Holy
Spirit, (Jude 1:20)
In general, effective prayer is accompanied by forgiveness.
And when you stand up doing your prayer, if you have something against someone, forgive,
so that your Father who is in heaven also forgives you your trespasses. (Mark 11:25)
God recommends prayer in discretion.
When you pray, do not be like hypocrites, who like to pray standing in synagogues and street
corners to be seen by men. I tell you truly, they have their reward. But when you pray, enter
your room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your
Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. While praying, do not multiply vain words, like
the pagans, who imagine that by dint of words they will be heard. Do not resemble
them; because your Father knows what you need, before you ask him. (Matthew 6: 5-8)

7. Can man intercede to God for his fellow man?

It is recommended that believers intercede for one another.
The people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Yod
He Vav He and against you. Pray Yod He Vav He, so that he removes from us those
snakes. Moses prayed for the people. (Numbers 21: 7)
The prophet Samuel and others did it.
Samuel said, Assemble all Israel in Mizpah, and I will pray Yod He Vav He for you. And they
gathered at Mizpah. (1 Samuel 7: 5)
And all the people said to Samuel, Pray Yod He Vav He, your God, for your servants, that we
not die; for we have added to all our sins the wrong to ask for a king for us. (1 Samuel 12:19)
Then the king spoke, and said to the man of God, 'Implore Yod He Vav He your God, and
pray for me, that I may take away my hand.' The man of God implored Yod He Vav He, and
the king was able to withdraw his hand, which was as before. (1 Kings 13: 6)
Simon answered, "Pray yourselves for the Lord, that nothing of what you have said may
happen to me. (Ac 8:24)
Even the Apostle Paul needed the prayers of the disciples.
Pray for me, that when I open my mouth, it be given to me to boldly and freely disclose the
mystery of the Gospel, for which I am ambassador in chains, and to speak with confidence as
I have to talk about it. (Ephesians 6: 19-20)
I pray you for my child, whom I begotten being in chains, Onesimus, (Philemon 1:10)
Yeshuaah on the other hand interceded for all the elect of God.
It is for them that I pray. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me,
because they are yours; (John 17: 9)

8- Is there a specific place prescribed for prayer?

No specific place is prescribed. Yeshuah asks to do it with discretion.
When he had sent her away, he went up to the mountain to pray aloof; and, as evening had
come, he was there alone. (Matthew 14:23)
And he would retire to the deserts and pray. (Luke 5:16)
They were daily diligent together in the temple, breaking bread in the houses, and taking their
food with joy and simplicity of heart, when you pray, do not be like hypocrites, who like to
pray standing in the synagogues and corners of the streets, to be seen men. Truly, I say to you,
they have their reward. But when you pray, enter your room, close your door, and pray to
your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father, who sees in secret, will restore it
to you. While praying, do not multiply vain words, like the pagans, who imagine that by dint
of words they will be heard. Do not resemble them; because your Father knows what you
need, before you ask him. (Matthew 6: 5-8)
One day while Yeshuah was praying away, having his disciples with him, he asked them this
question: who am I by men? (Luke 9:18)
9- Is there a prescribed moment for prayer ?
The ideal is to pray constantly.
Watch and pray, so that you do not fall into temptation; the mind is well disposed, but the
flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41)
So watch and pray at all times, so that you have the strength to escape from all these things
that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)
That is why we too, since the day we have been informed, have been praying to God for
you; we ask that you be filled with the knowledge of your will, in all wisdom and spiritual
intelligence, (Colossians 1: 9)
Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
And they stoned Stephen, who prayed and said: Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit! (Ac 7:59)
Night and day, we pray with extreme ardor to allow us to see you, and to complete what is
lacking in your faith. (1 Thessalonians 3:10)
Make at all times by the Spirit all kinds of prayers and supplications. Watch this with
complete perseverance, and pray for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18)
for which I am ambassador in the chains, and that I speak with confidence as I must speak
about it. (Ephesians 6:20)

10-Is it appropriate to address a prayer to the Holy Spirit?

The prayer should be addressed tor God through Yeshuah the Messiah. The power of the
Spirit of God is there to hear Him.
And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another comforter, that he may abide with
you forever (John 14:16).
For you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, and praying by the Holy
Spirit, (Jude 1:20)

11- Must we learn how to pray?

Yes. Yeshuah taught it.
Yeshua prayed one day in a certain place. When he had finished, one of his disciples said to
him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples. (Luke 11: 1)
He said to them in his teaching: "Beware of scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to be
saluted in the public squares; who seek the first seats in the synagogues, and the first places in
the feasts, who devour the houses of the widows, and who make for the appearance of long
prayers. They will be judged more severely. (Mark 12: 38-40)
Here is how you should pray: Our Father who is in heaven! Hallowed be thy name, thy
kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily
bread; forgive us our trespasses, as we also forgive those who have offended us; do not induce
us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For it is to you that reign, power, and
glory belong in all ages. Amen! (Matthew 6: 9-13)

12- Do we have to fast when praying ?

In some cases, this is necessary.
But this kind of demon comes out only by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21)
Remaining widowed, and aged eighty-four, she did not leave the temple, and she served God
night and day in fasting and in prayer. (Luke 2:37)
Then, after fasting and praying, they laid hands on them, and let them go. (Acts 13: 3)
They appointed elders in each church, and after praying and fasting, they commended them to
the Lord, in whom they had believed. (Acts 14:23)

13-What is true fasting?

Fasting is about showing love for others. God looks much more at the spiritual state of him
who speaks to him. He prefers love to the mortification of the body.
What is the point of fasting, if you do not see it? To mortify our soul, if you have no regard?
-Here, on the day of your fast, you surrender to your inclinations, and you treat all your
mercenaries hard. Behold, you fast to quarrel and quarrel, to strike with a fist; You do not fast
as you wish today, so that your voice may be heard at the top. Is this the fast I enjoy, a day
when man humbles his soul? To bend your head like a rush, and lie down on the sack and
ashes, is this what you will call a fast, a pleasant day to Yod He Vav He? This is the fast to
which I take pleasure: Detach the chains of wickedness, undo the bonds of servitude, send
free the oppressed, and break every yoke; share your bread with him who is hungry, and bring
into your house the poor without shelter; if you see a naked man, cover him, and do not turn
away from your fellow man. Then your light will appear as dawn, and your healing will
sprout promptly; your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of Yod He Vav He will
accompany you. Then you will call, and Yod He Vav He will answer; you will cry, and he
will say: Here I am! If you remove from the midst of you the yoke, the threatening gestures
and the abusive speeches, if you give your own sustenance to the hungry, if you satisfy the
indigent soul, your light will rise on the darkness, and your darkness will be like noon. Yod
He Vav He will always be your guide, He will satisfy your soul in arid places, and he will
restore vigor to your members; you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose waters
never fail. Yours will rebuild on old ruins, you will raise up ancient foundations; you will be
called repairer of the breaches, the one who restores the roads, which makes the country
habitable. (Isaiah 58: 3-12)

13- Are there any prayers that please God?

God accepts the prayer of the just.
The sacrifice of the wicked is abhorred to Yod He Vav He, but the prayer of the upright is
pleasing to him. (Proverbs 15: 8)
Yod He Vav He is moving away from the wicked, but he listens to the prayer of the
righteous. (Proverbs 15:29)
God accedes to the prayer of the one who fears him
Give your servant an intelligent heart to judge your people, to discern good and evil! For who
could judge your people, so many people? Solomon's request pleased the Lord. And God said
to him, Since this is what you ask, since you do not ask for a long life for yourself, neither the
riches nor the death of your enemies, and that you ask for intelligence to exercise justice,
Behold, I will do according to your word. I will give you a wise and intelligent heart, so that
there will be no one before you, and no one will ever be seen like you. I will give you,
besides, what you do not have. asked, riches and glory, so that there will be no king in your
life who is yours. And if you walk in my ways, keeping my laws and my commandments, as
your father David did, I will prolong your days. (1 Kings 3: 9-14)
14- Does God hear all the prayers?
God is not bound by the prayers of men.
And then you will shout against your king that you will be chosen, but Yod He Vav He will
not hear you. (1 Samuel 8:18)
When you extend your hands, I turn my eyes away from you; when you multiply the prayers,
I do not listen: your hands are full of blood. (Isaiah 1:15)
What hope remains for the ungodly, when God cuts the thread of his life, when he withdraws
his soul? (Job 27: 8)
If someone turns away their ear not to listen to the law, his very prayer is an
abomination. (Proverbs 28: 9)
But behold, you indulge in deceptive hopes, which serve no purpose. to steal, to kill, to
commit adultery, to swear falsely, to offer incense to Baal, to go after other gods that you do
not know! ... Then you come to appear before me, in this house on which my name is
invoked, and you say: we are delivered! ... And it is in order to commit all these
abominations! Is it in your eyes a cave of thieves, this house on which my name is invoked? I
see it myself, says Yod He Vav He. (Jeremiah 7: 8-11)

15- Why is it recommended to pray God in the name of Yeshuah?

All that Yeshuah asks God, He gives Him.
Martha said to Yeshua: Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not be dead. But even
now, I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you. (John 11: 21-22)
Who will condemn them? Messiah is dead; moreover, he is risen, he is at the right hand of
God, and he intercedes for us! (Romans 8:34)
Yeshuaah is thereby the guarantor of a more excellent alliance. In addition, there were many
priests, because death prevented them from being permanent. But he, because he lives forever,
has a priesthood that is not transmissible. It is also for that reason that he can perfectly save
those who approach God by him, being always alive to intercede on their behalf.
(Hebrews 7: 22-25)
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask what you will, and it will be granted to
you. (John 15:7)

16- What importance does prayer have in the life of the saints?
Prayer is at the heart of the relationship between God and the believer. It is the basis of his
spiritual life. The believer can get everything from God through prayer.
Whatever you ask in faith by prayer, you will receive it. (Matthew 21:22)
because everything is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer. (1 Timothy 4: 5)
The apostles prayed constantly.
When they arrived, they went up to the upper room where they usually stood; they were
Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James, son of Alpheus,
Simon the Zealot, and Jude, son of James. All of them were persevering in prayer, with the
women, and Mary, the mother of Yeshua, and the brothers of Yeshua. (Acts 1: 13-14)
They persevered in the teaching of the apostles, in fraternal communion, in the breaking of
bread, and in prayers. (Ac 2:42)
And we will continue to apply to prayer and the ministry of the word. (Acts 6: 4)
Israel implored God and he was delivered
Your fathers cried to Yod He Vav He. And Yod He Vav He put darkness between you and the
Egyptians, he brought back the sea upon them, and she covered them. Your eyes have seen
what I did to the Egyptians. And you stayed a long time in the desert. (Joshua 24: 7)
After Jacob came to Egypt, your fathers cried to Yod He Vav He, and Yod He Vav Heenvoya
Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them live there. (1
Samuel 12: 8)
Answer me, Yod He Vav He, answer me, so that this people will recognize that it is you Yod
He Vav He, who is God, and that it is you who bring back their heart! And the fire of Jehovah
fell, and consumed the burnt-offering, the wood, the stones, and the earth, and he consumed
the water that was in the ditch. (1 Kings 18: 37-38)
When you began to pray, the word came out, and I come to announce it to you; because you
are a beloved. Be attentive to the word, and understand the vision! (Daniel 9:23)
Prayer is very effective.
So confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The
acting prayer of the righteous is very effective. (James 5:16)

17- How does one pray for supplication?

Examples of prayer of supplication.
(-) Because strangers have risen against me, violent men are angry with me for my life; They
do not carry their thoughts on God. -Pause. (-) Behold, God is my help, the Lord is the
support of my soul. (Psalms 54:3-4)
Look, answer me, O LORD, my God! Give to my eyes clarity, that I may not fall asleep from
the sleep of death, that my enemy may not say, I have overcome him. And that my opponents
do not rejoice, if I stagger. I trust in your goodness, I have joy in my heart because of your
salvation; I sing to the Lord, for he has done me good. (Psalms 13: 4-6)
And at the ninth hour, Yeshua shouted with a loud voice: Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which
means: My God, my God, why did you abandon me? (Mark 15:34)
Now my soul is troubled. And what shall I say? Father, deliver me from this hour? But that is
why I have come to this hour. (John 12:27)

18- How is a prayer of praise and blessing done?

Examples of prayers of praise and worship.
All the children of Israel saw the fire go down, and the glory of Jehovah on the house; They
bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped and praised Yod He Vav He,
saying: for he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever. (2 Chronicles 7: 3)
He said to them, When you pray, say, Father! Hallowed be thy name; may your kingdom
come. Give us daily our daily bread; forgive us our sins, for we also forgive anyone who
offends us; and do not induce us into temptation. (Luke 11: 2-4)
Rent Yod He Vav He! Servants of Yod He Vav He, praise, praise Yod He Vav He! May the
name of Yod He Vav He be blessed, From now on and forever! From the sunrise to its setting,
let the name of Yod He Vav He be celebrated! (Psalms 113: 1-3)
Rent Yod He Vav He! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him in the expanse, where his
power breaks out! (Psalms 150:1)

19- How do we pray for thanksgiving?

Examples of thanksgiving prayer.
Mary answered the children of Israel: Sing to Yod He Vav He, for he made his glory
shine; He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea. (Exodus 15:21)
With thirst, he called on Yod He Vav He, and said, "It is you who has permitted this great
deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die thirsty, and fall into the hands of
the uncircumcised? (Judges 15:18)
Blessed be God, who did not reject my prayer, and who did not withdraw me his
goodness! (Psalms 66:20)
We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Yeshua-Messiah, and we continue to pray for
you, (Colossians 1:3)

20- How does one pray for confession and lamentation?

Examples of prayer of confession and lamentation.
If our iniquities testify against us, act for your name's sake, O Yod He Vav He! Because our
infidelities are numerous, we have sinned against you. You who are the hope of Israel, his
savior in times of distress, why would you be like a stranger in the country, like a traveler
who goes in to spend the night? Why would you be like a stunned man, like a hero who can
not help us? Yet you are in our midst, O Yod He Vav He, and your name is invoked upon us:
do not abandon us! (Jeremiah 14: 7-9)
Have you rejected Judah, and has your soul taken Zion in horror? Why are you hitting us
without healing? We were hoping for peace, and nothing happy happens, a time of healing,
and here is terror! Yod He Vav He, we recognize our wickedness, the iniquity of our
fathers; because we have sinned against you. Because of your name, do not despise, do not
dishonor the throne of your glory! Do not forget, do not break your alliance with us! Amongst
the idols of the nations, is there any raining? Or is it the sky that gives rain? Is it not you, Yod
He Vav He, our God? We hope in you, because you did all these things. (Jeremiah 14: 19-22)
The stain was in the sides of her dress, and she did not think of her end; she has fallen
astonishingly, and no one consoles her. - See my misery, O Yod He Vav He! What arrogance
in the enemy! - (Lamentations 1:9)
Yod He Vav He, look at my distress! My bowels are seething, my heart is upset inside me, for
I have been rebellious. Outside, the sword has taken its toll, inside death. (Lamentations 1:20)
Let us seek our ways and probe them, and return to Yod He Vav He, raise our hearts and our
hands to God who is in heaven: we have sinned, we have been rebellious! You have not
forgiven! (Lamentations 3: 40-42)
Why would you forget us forever, Would you give up for many years? Bring us back to you,
OYod He Vav He, and we'll come back! Give us days like those of old! Would you have
rejected us completely, And would you irritate us to excess? (Lamentations 5:20-22)

21- Does the prayer have to be very long to be efficient ?

The prayer of the just can be short and effective.
While praying, do not multiply vain words, like the pagans, who imagine that by dint of
words they will be heard. (Matthew 6: 7)
God wants his disciple to do his will.
Those who say to me, Lord, Lord! Not all will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who
does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
Misfortune to you, scribes and hypocrites pharisees! because you devour the houses of
widows, and you make for the appearance of long prayers; because of this, you will be judged
more severely. (Matthew 23:14)
Above all, one must show love each other.
The end of all things is near. Be wise and sober, to go to prayer. Above all, have an ardent
love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Practice hospitality to each other
without murmuring.(1 Peter 4: 7-9)
22- Is there an appropriate time for prayer?
The servants of God prayed at different times of the day.
All night long
I repent of having established Saul as king, because he turns away from me and he does not
observe my words. Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the Lord all the night.
(1 Samuel 15:11)
I go to bed, and fall asleep; I wake up because Yod He Vav He is my support. (-) I do not fear
the thousands of people who besiege me from all sides. (Psalms 3: 5-6)
My soul will be satisfied like greasy and succulent food, and with cries of joy on my lips, my
mouth will celebrate you. (-) When I think of you on my bed, I meditate on you during the
night watches. (-) For you are my help, and I am glad in the shadow of your wings.
(Psalms 63: 5-7)
In the day of my distress, I seek the Lord; At night, my hands are extended without tiring; My
soul refuses all consolation. (-) I remember God, and I groan; I meditate, and my mind is
shot. -Pause. (Psalms 77: 2-3)
The morning
O Yod He Vav He! I implore your help, and in the morning my prayer rises to you. (-) Why,
Yod He Vav He, do you reject my soul? Why are you hiding your face? (Psalms 88: 13-14)
In the middle of the night
The snares of the wicked surround me; I do not forget your law. In the middle of the night I
rise to praise you, because of the judgments of your justice. (Psalms 119: 61-62)
at dawn
I'm getting ahead of dawn and shouting: I hope in your promises. I'm getting ahead of the
watches and I open my eyes to meditate on your word. (Psalm 119: 147-148)
Several times a day
Seven times a day I celebrate you, because of the laws of your justice. (Psalm 119:164)

23. What can be the different intentions of prayer?

In moments of joy and moments of sorrow, it is necessary to pray.
We shouted at Yod He Vav He, and he heard our voice. He sent an angel, and brought us out
of Egypt. And behold, we are at Kadesh, a city at the end of your territory. (Numbers 20:16)
From the bosom of distress I invoked Yod He Vav He: Yod He Vav He answered me, put me
off. (Psalms 118: 5)
Being in agony, he prayed more urgently, and his sweat became like lumps of blood, which
fell to the ground. (Luke 22:44)
I exhort you, brethren, by our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and by the love of the Spirit, to fight
with me, praying to God for my favor, (Romans 15:30)
vous-mêmes nous assistez vous-mêmes de vos prières, afin que la grâce obtenue pour nous
par plusieurs soit pour plusieurs une occasion de rendre grâces à notre sujet.
(2 Corinthiens 1:11)
Moses implored Yod He Vav He, his God, and said: Why, O Yod He Vav He! Would your
anger be inflamed against your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt by a great
power and a strong hand? Why should the Egyptians say it was for their misfortune that he
brought them out, to kill them in the mountains, and to exterminate them from the
earth? Return from the ardor of your anger, and repent of the evil that you want to do to your
people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, whom you have said, swearing
by yourself, I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven, and I will give to your
descendants all this land of which I I have spoken, and they will possess it forever.
(Exodus 32: 11-13)
David felt his heart beat, after he counted the people. And he said to Yod He Vav He: I have
committed a great sin in doing this! Now, O Yod He Vav He, deign to forgive the iniquity of
your servant, for I have completely acted foolishly! (2 Samuel 24:10)
Lord, according to your great mercy, may your anger and fury turn from your city of
Jerusalem, from your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers,
Jerusalem and your people are in disgrace to all those around us. Now, then, O God, hear the
prayer and the supplications of your servant, and, for the sake of Love of the Lord, make your
face shine on your devastated sanctuary, O God, listen and listen! open your eyes and look at
our ruins, look at the city on which your name is invoked! For it is not because of our
righteousness that we present our supplications to you, it is because of your great
mercies. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, be attentive! act and do not delay, out of love for
you, O my God! For your name is called upon your city and your people. (Daniel 9:
Pharaoh was approaching. The children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the
Egyptians were walking behind them. And the children of Israel were afraid, and cried to
Jehovah. (Exodus 14:10)
May your work show itself to your servants, and your glory to their children! May the grace
of Yod He Vav He, our God, be upon us! Strengthen the work of our hands, yes, strengthen
the work of our hands! (Psalms 90:16-17)
Come, sing with gladness to Yod He Vav He! Let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation.
Let us meet him with praise, Let us sound hymns in his honor! (Psalms 95: 1-2)
They brought him a deaf man, who had difficulty speaking, and they begged him to lay hands
on him. (Mark 7:32)
And behold, a man from among the crowd cried, saying, Master, I pray you, look on my son,
for he is my only son. A spirit seizes him, and immediately he cries out; and the spirit agitates
it with violence, makes it foaming, and finds it difficult to withdraw from it, after having
broken it all. I prayed your disciples to drive him away, and they could not. (Luke 9:38-40)
It is recommended to pray all times.
So watch and pray at all times, so that you have the strength to escape from all these things
that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)

24- Is it recommended to pray in language? How?

Believers can do it in order if they have the gifts. But it is also recommended to pray with
intelligence.
For if I pray in tongues, my mind is in prayer, but my intelligence remains barren. What to
do? I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray also with the intelligence; I will sing with the
spirit, but I will sing with the intelligence also. (1 Corinthians 14:14-15)
but, in the Church, I prefer to say five words with my intelligence, in order to instruct others
as well, than ten thousand words in language. (1 Corinthians 14:19)
Among the spiritual gifts, the gift of prophecy is by far the most edifying.
It is written in the law: By men of another tongue, and by the lips of strangers, that I will
speak to this people, and they will not hear me so, saith the Lord. languages are a sign, not for
believers, but for unbelievers; prophecy, on the contrary, is a sign, not for the unbeliever, but
for the believers. So, in an assembly of the whole Church, all speak in tongues, and that
between simple hearers or not -would not they say you're crazy? But if all prophesy, and he
enters between a non-believer or a simple listener, he is convinced by all, he is judged by all,
the secrets of his heart are revealed so that, falling on his face, he will adore God, and will
publish that God is really in your midst. (1 Corinthians 14: 21-25)
Before the gift of language, one must seek love.
Look for love. Aspire also for spiritual gifts, but especially for that of prophecy. In fact, he
who speaks in tongues does not speak to men, but to God, because no one understands him,
and in the spirit he speaks mysteries. He who prophesies, on the contrary, speaks to men,
edifies them, exhorts them, consoles them.He who speaks in a language builds himself; he
who prophesies edifies the church. I want you to all speak in tongues, but even more than you
prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless the latter
interprets for the Church to receive edification. (1 Corinthians 14: 1-5)

25- Is it essential to pray God in language?

It is not compulsory.
What to do, brothers? When you assemble, do any of you have a hymn, an instruction, a
revelation, a language, an interpretation, that everything is done for edification? Are some of
them speaking in tongues, that two or three at most speak, each one in his turn, and that
someone interprets; if there is no interpreter, let us be silent in the Church, and speak to
ourselves and to God. (1 Corinthians 14: 26-28)

26- Does God allow prayers to the saints, living or dead?

The prayer of the believer is addressed to God alone.
In that day, you will not question me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you
ask of the Father, he will give it to you in my name. Until now you have asked nothing in my
name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be perfect. I told you these things in
parables. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in parables, but where I will
speak to you openly about the Father. On that day you will ask in my name, and I do not tell
you that I will pray the Father for you; (John 16: 23-26)

27- Can one pray for the dead?

The dead can not do anything for the living. The intercession of the living is of no use to
them. They are waiting for the judgment of God.
The living, in fact, know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and there is no longer
a salary for them, since their memory is forgotten. And their love, and their hatred, and their
envy, have already perished; and they will never have any part in everything under the
sun. (Ecclesiastes 9: 5-6)
If one says to you: consult those who evoke the dead and those who predict the future, who
utter hisses and sighs, answer: will not a people consult their God? Will he turn to the dead for
the living? (Isaiah 8:19)

Can man worship God through a saint?

Yeshuah is the only name that has been given among men to be saved.
There is no salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

29- Can God worship the stars?

God forbids it.
He may find himself in the midst of you in one of the cities that Yod He Vav He, your God,
gives you, a man or a woman doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God, and transgressing
his alliance; going after other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, after the sun, the
moon, or all the army of heaven. This is not what I ordered. (Deuteronomy 17: 2-3)
And he said to me, Do you see, son of man? You will see other abominations greater than
these ones. And he led me to the inner courtyard of the house of Yod He Vav He. And behold,
at the entrance to the temple of Yod He Vav He, between the portico and the altar, there were
about twenty-five men, with their backs to the temple of Yod He Vav He and their faces to the
east; and they bowed themselves to the east in the sun. And he said to me, Do you see, son of
man? Is it too little for the house of Judah to commit the abominations they commit
here? Must they still fill the country with violence, and that they continue to irritate
me? Behold, they are approaching the branch of their noses. I, too, will act furiously; my eye
will be without mercy, and I will have no mercy; when they cry aloud to my ears, I will not
listen to them.
