How to open the software

1. Double click on
file”ginger-20XX.exe”

2. Read the Data Access Agreement then click 3. Type in the User Name and
on “Agree” Password then click “OK”

Topology Check
INVALID_GEOMETRY
• Caused by self-intersection of one geometry
• Solution: delete the wrong geometry and redraw
KICK_BACK
• Caused by the duplicate points and spines
• Solution: delete the duplicate point and repair the spines
DUPLICATE_ILLEGAL_GROUPED
• One building has been drawn two times and grouped as one geometry
• Solution: degroup and delete the additional building
POST_SHIFT_ILLEGAL_GROUPING
• Adjoining buildings, which should not be grouped as one building, grouped together
• Solution: Degroup and check the 3D structure. Regroup those features belong to one
building
POST_SHIFT_OVERLAP
• Caused by: (1) 3D drawing is wrong, the relationship between different levels is
unreasonable. The bottom of different buildings can not overlap. (2) Ocurrs at the
task boundaries. The buildings at the boundaries drawn twice by two different
labelers.
• Solution: (1) Redraw or fix the bottom. (2)Delete the buildings which have drawn
by another labeler at the task boundary.
