Lesson Reflection3

Fatima Yousif taught an addition lesson to Kg 2-6 students at Alqarayen school. She felt she did well by creating different activity levels to suit students' abilities. However, the class was noisy because she was alone and could only focus on one group. For the next lesson, she will go to each group and student to check their work and provide help.

Class Kg 2- 6 Date 13-3-2018

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked
well and what hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.

I succeed in making different levels of activities that suit the different learning abilities (low-
medium-high). I think it worked well because the students loved it and succeed in doing that,
it was not too easy for the high abilities students and not too hard for the low abilities
students.

Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the
problem was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the
next lesson.

The class was too noisy while doing the activities because I was alone with the students
because the teacher was busy in doing some activities for tomorrows assembly and I sat with
one group only so it was difficult to manage all the students in the classroom.

Personal focus for next lesson:

I should go to each group and student to discuss with them about their answers and help them
if they have problems in doing the activities .
