Purposal for Hostel Management System

Introduction
Hostel use a variety of computer system to manage the operations of their front
office called a property management system. These computer systems manage
the variety of tasks. A hostel manages the guest’s check-in and checkout, cash
transactions at the front and night audit and other task.

1.1 Purpose
Aim of Hostel Management System is to create a program which is
used in Hostels to keep record.

1.2 Scope
For the past few years the numbers of educational institutions are increasing rapidly.
Thereby the number of hostels is also increasing for the accommodation of the
students studying in this institution. And hence there is a lot of strain on the person
who are running the hostel and software’s are not usually used in this context. This
particular project deals with the problems on managing a hostel and avoids the
problems which occur when carried manually.

OBJECTIVES:
 It keeps the record of student according to the allotments of rooms.
 It keeps the detail about the mess system and manages the mess system.
 It keep the all records of student fees [security fee, mess fee, accomodation fee].
