 Pear Deck is an online presentation website that allows for students to engage in a lesson and work with peers through
interactive questions and activities posted by a teacher within a presentation. Students through a computer/phone can
access the presentation and participate.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION


How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students’ presentation/speaking/communication skills?

 I will use this website in my lessons to obtain feedback from my students on how much they are understanding the
material. I think that this website can be beneficial for any of my lessons. I also want to divide my class into groups and
have them work together to solve various problems that I will post through the presentation and then have each group
give an answer. These kind of activities would promote cooperative learning and engage my students in the lesson.

*** Based on the scale, Pear Deck is a number 3, because it does align to the standards. It also would be impossible to
make my presentation so interactive without this website. I think that it provides a good platform for engaging students
through questions and activities.
