In addition to my classroom duties as a teacher, I have severed as Grade Chair this year to a new team of
teachers. I have also served as Athletic Director, which included hiring coaching staff, payroll, scheduling of
games, transportation, officials, as well as paying officials, and coaches, mentoring athletes, purchasing
equipment and concessions, money collection for athletes, concessions, and admission to the games. I also
run all social media accounts for the school as well as the sports calendar. I organized all Homecoming
events and awards ceremonies for sports. I’ve also been working with our coaches and community
businesses to secure monetary support for our athletic department.

I have assumed the duties of a school administrator by conducting formal and informal observations,
working with staff on building relationships and promoting student achievement, creating a research action
project to work with English 2 teachers on student engagement and improving ACT scores and I work with
students who have repeated discipline concerns.
