You are the editor of your school magazine, you are asked to write a report about the recent
Open Day in your school. Use the information in the pamphlet to write your report.

When writing your report, you must :


 Provide a title
 Use all the information given
 Indicate whether Open Day was successful or otherwise
 End your report appropriately
Note : For your report, you will receive up to 15 marks for the format and content points and up
to 20 marks for the quality of your writing.

Section B : Continuous Writing.

Write a composition of about 350 words on one of the following topics.

1. ‘Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper’. Describe why
breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
2. Reading is a good habit. Do you agree?
3. Write a story about a flood which ends with “ I will never forget this day- the day the
floods came”.
4. Life is not a bed of roses
