Calculation All

The document outlines the steps for designing a concrete deck and abutment and wingwall. It includes obtaining design criteria, computing load effects from dead loads like the deck weight and live loads from traffic, and designing the deck for positive and negative flexure. Reinforcement is designed for the deck to resist bending moments from factored load combinations. Design of the abutment involves selecting dimensions, analyzing load effects from dead and live loads, and designing the backwall, stem, and footing to meet stability and strength requirements.
