    Job Description:

    As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, enhance, and provide support for the
    QuickBooks Canada and UK Releases. You will be expected to deliver the software development
    assignments given to you independently and then be able to coach other members in the team by
    suggesting approaches for solving the problems. You will be involved right from the Design,
    develop/enhance, build and test phases for your deliverables. You will be expected to facilitate
    resolution of conflicts that arise during the development lifecycle through effective partnership with
    stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Qualifications :
    • BE Computer Science / Masters in Computer Science / MCA or equivalent.

    • 5+ years experience in design and development of C++. using Microsoft Visual Studio. .Net
    understanding will be plus.

    • Strong experience with Object Orientated design and programming.

    • Experience in improving the performance of C++ based applications by fixing the issues like Memory
    leaks, multi-threaded/multi-process etc.

    • Works independently, with general instructions on software development assignments. Oversees and
    guides the work of other team members. Has experience in contributing to Design and Code Reviews.

    • Works on problems of complex scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors of
    the overall product and service. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design,
    implement, modify and support a variety of SW products and services to meet user or system
    specifications that may impact the broader team.

    • Applies techniques to gain rapid customer feedback. Improves the customers’ experiences by
    understanding what’s important, measuring how we’re doing, and driving priorities to improve. Uses
    deep understanding of the customer(s) and Design for Delight principles to design offerings and services.
    Understands how they fit into the business strategy and establishes execution plans for their
    deliverables.

    • Reaches across BU and functional boundaries to learn from others. Networks with senior internal and
    external contributors in their area of expertise to advance knowledge and optimize solutions.

    • Incorporates industry and technology trends to software designs.

    • Hands-on experience in using unit-test tools and automation tools.

    • Experience in developing applications that can be reused across geographies.

    • Possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, innovative while solving problems
    and adapts quickly to changes.
