PRESSURE CALCULATION SHEET

For LOCKING LOAD: 20% OF 13.8 TONS

FOR USING T9HMNJ 26/27

Hydraulic jack Number: T9HMNNJ-26&27

Effective Jack Ram Area: 50.27 sq.-cm (25 Ton jack)

Locking Load: 13.8 x 20% = 2.76 ton per strand

=2.76 x 1000 = 13800 Kg

= 2760/ 50.27
= 54.9 Kg/sq. cm say 55.

As per jack calibration report

For jack number: T9HMNJ 26, Modified Pressure is 40 kg/sq.cm

T9HMNJ 27, Modified Pressure is 40 kg/sq.cm

FOR USING T9HMNJ 09

Hydraulic jack Number: T9HMNNJ-09
Effective Jack Ram Area: 33.7 sq.-cm (20 Ton jack)

Locking Load: 13.8 x 20% = 2.76 ton per strand

=2.76 x 1000 = 13800 Kg

= 2760/ 33.7
= 81.89 Kg/sq. cm say 82.

As per jack calibration report

For jack number: T9HMNJ 09, Modified Pressure is 68 kg/sq.cm

For LOAD: 100% OF 13.8 TONS

FOR USING T9HMNJ 26/27

Hydraulic jack Number: T9HMNNJ-26&27

Effective Jack Ram Area: 50.27 sq.-cm (25 Ton jack)

Design Load: 13.8 ton per strand

=13.8 x 1000 = 13800 Kg

= 13800/ 50.27
= 274.5 Kg/sq. cm say 275.

As per jack calibration report

For jack number: T9HMNJ 26, Modified Pressure is 265 kg/sq.cm

T9HMNJ 27, Modified Pressure is 267 kg/sq.cm

FOR USING T9HMNJ 09

Hydraulic jack Number: T9HMNNJ-09
Effective Jack Ram Area: 33.7 sq.-cm (20 Ton jack)

Design Load: 13.8 ton per strand

=13.8 x 1000 = 13800 Kg

= 13800/ 33.7
= 409.49 Kg/sq. cm say 410

As per jack calibration report

For jack number: T9HMNJ 09, Modified Pressure is 410 kg/sq.cm

ELONGATION CALCULATION SHEET

(Sample)

FOR USING T9HMNJ 26/27 - JACK SHEET-I

Date: 17-09-2016

1. Hydraulic jack Number: T9HMNNJ-26&27

2. Modified Pressure: P= 11.2 Tons = 11.2 x 9.81 = 109.872 say 110 kN
3. Lets consider,
Length of Tendon (end to end) = 14.16 m
Grip length = 0.950 m
4. Nominal area of strand A = 98.7 Sq. mm
5. Young’s modulus E = 195 kN/sq.mm
6. Elongation e = PL/AE
= [(110 x 1000 x (14.160-0.95)) / [(98.7 x 195)] + 6 mm
= 81.499 mm say 81.5 mm.
7. Elongation limits (+ 7%) = 75.79 mm to 87.20
