Resign Methodology and Design

Methodology

Research methodology is the process used to collect the information and data. It contains the

information that how we collect the data or from where we generate the data. Research

methodology is basically the science of how research is to be done. It also contains the

information that which research method we used for our research (Taylor, Bogdan, & DeVault,

2015). In our topic we use the objective research methodology. Our objective is to give rights to

LGBTQs. It is effective in many countries and is legal in many countries but illegal in other

countries.

It is our social issue. Every country has its own opinion regarding the LGBTQs. It is legal in

USA and Australia and has equal rights to the others (Epstein, 2014). In this we will do the

quantitative and qualitative analysis for our research methodology. In the quantitative we will get

exact results by conducting the interview from the people and also take a survey from the people.

The purpose of taking the survey is to know about the views of the people that whether LGBTQ

give the rights or not.

This can be subjective that most of the countries are against the LGBTQs as they think that it is

against the rule of nature. Most the countries hated from the transgender and also from the

bisexual people (Testa, Michaels, Bliss, Rogers, Balsam, & Joiner, 2017). They support that

LGBTQs are not allowed in the country and they should be illegal. Every country has its own

aspect regarding the LGBTQs. While other countries have the reviews that everyone has its own

life and have the right to live his life. Everybody has the right to choose the life partner.
Running Head: Research Methodology

The objective of our Research Methodology is to identify the rights about the LGBTQs which

help them to live freely in the country. LGBTQs are allowed in many countries but they are

strictly not allowed in many countries like the Middle East and North Africa etc (Hudson, 2017).

We will divide our research in different phases. In first phase we will identify the factors that are

needed for the rights of LGBTQs. In the second phase we will do the quantitative analysis,

interview analysis and then concluded the result of the theory.

We will collect the data from the case study. The data can be gathers from the internet. The

document which we collected for this will not be outdates. The document will not be older than

2014. Description research will also be used in order to use the observational method and the

survey methods. Our research work is based on the study of the LGBTQ community people. In

order to give rights to the LGBTQ we will do the survey analysis. I will make a questionnaire for

the purpose of asking the people about their reviews that whether they LGBTQs should give the

rights or not.

Our research will include the descriptive study of the LGBTQ community people and the general

people from the society. The research technique that we use here will be quantitative and the

qualitative approaches. A survey method is used to know about the views of the society that

whether it will be better to give rights to LGBTQs or not. If the data of survey analysis is not

enough then we will move to the case study. In the survey analysis there may be a possibility that

people feel shy in talk about the LGBTQs. I will take the survey for myself so the chances of the

error will be minimum.

The society plays an important role in giving the rights to the LGBTQs. If the society have no

problem with that then it will be easy for us in giving the rights to the LGBTQs (Orel & Coon,
Running Head: Research Methodology

2016). By using the quantitative and qualitative approach we will be able to know about the

reasons that why people is not ready in giving rights to LGBTQs. On the basis of that and

solving the problems of the society we will be able to give rights to the LGBTQs. We will start

addressing the society and tell them about the rights of the LGBTQs and try to convince them

about their equal rights in the society.

We will use the CAMRA and event mapping technique in order to model our data according to

the sequence. We use the event mapping technique in order to know about the hurdle that

nonprofit organization is facing in order to generate the funding stream. After that we will make

official meeting with the officers of the HRC (Human Right Campaign) which is the largest

organization designed to fight against the rights of LGBTQs. This will be proved very helpful for

us in order to fight for the benefits rights of LGBTQs.

Sources

The sources are one of the important things that from which sources we will use to collect the

data. In our first phase we will work on the data calculation techniques that from which sources

we will collect the data and make it useful for the future. We will study different papers

regarding the study of rights of LGBTQs. We will collect the data from the authentic websites.

We will make sure that data which we are collecting is trusted and is real. For our research we

will use the most trusted and authentic sources.

We will do the survey in the schools, institutes, hospitals and the NGO in order to know about

their views of LGBTQs. We will go to school in order to know that what young generation is

thinking about the LGBTQs. The future of any country is their young generation and they will

decide that what is best for them. We will contact with other nonprofit organization. Nonprofit
Running Head: Research Methodology

organizations are those organizations which are formed for the religious, charitable, scientific

and the education purposes. In these organization shareholders or trustees do not any benefit

financially.

The Nonprofit organizations as the name suggest they are not-for profit organizations. They do

not pay the taxes at all. These organizations only make the profit from the activities that they do

for the people and use it in order to cover their expenses (Butler & Wilson, 2015). The LGBTQs

non profits organizations that support the LGBTQs are The Ali Forney Center, GLSEN (Gay,

Lesbian and Straight Education Network), The Door, Immigration Equality and the PFLAG

(Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays) etc. These are very much involved in support of

LGBTQs. We will be able to get more information from them.

These nonprofit organizations are working for many years and have much knowledge about

them. We will use them as our source to help us in collecting the funds regarding the rights of

LGBTQs (Bryson, 2018). The aim of PFLAG is that to support the equality of LGBTQs with the

help of parents, families and friends (Fehlbaum, 2016). The only organization which contains the

staff of immigration attorney is organization of immigration equality. They work to expand their

mission by providing the immigration resources for the LGBTQs which will help them in getting

the equality rights in the country.

Our primary objective is to collect funds from the nonprofit organizations and then list them in

detail that how much fund is available to the specified nonprofit organization. We will try to get

the data from the trustable sources. We will use the medical institution for our data and address

with the doctors and try to convince them about the rights of LGBTQs. The transgender are the
Running Head: Research Methodology

more hated but according to research it is found that the children coming from the transgender

people have an extra physical strength than the normal children.

By taking that research we will try to convince the people in getting the rights of LGBTQs.

There are multiple sources which have detailed, transparent and authentic data about the

LGBTQs. These sources are Urban Research Institute (URI), National Centre for the charitable

statistic and the US Internal Revenue services. These are working the benefits of LGBTQs since

many years. We will use them as the source and get data from them. We will contact with them

and get some strong points regarding the rights of LGBTQs and try to convince them.

There are also specific nonprofit websites available on the internet and have plenty of data about

the LGBTQs. These primary websites can be used as our source in getting information about the

rights of LGBTQs. They will be used as the river of collection of data. The survey from the

people is very helpful in getting information about the rights of LGBTQs. The society plays an

important role in getting the rights of the LGBTQs. Taking a survey from them will help us in

knowing about their issue of giving rights to the LGTQs.

Sample Size

The data which we will collect will contain all the funding sources for the Human Rights

Campaign (HRC) over the course of last 15 years. The biggest problem which will come in

collecting the sample of data is to get the response of the people. In this case people feel so much

shy in talking about these. It is basically the private topic. The LGBTQs itself do not like to

disclose their relation because of their sex orientation and identity gender.

In order to get the sample size we will go to schools, colleges and universities. We will go at

these education institutes in order to know about the views of young generation that what they
Running Head: Research Methodology

thought about the rights of LGBTQs. We will take the sample of 110 students from which 20

students belong to the school, 30 belong to the college and 60 belong to the universities. We will

also contact with the hotel managers and the employees of hotel managers like waiters, bar

attainder etc.

We will 20 managers of different hotels and 50 employees of different hotels and then taking

about their reviews and also explain them about their objective. Their main objective is to giving

the rights to LGBTQs in the society and also collecting the stream of funds regarding this. We

will contact with the medical students and take almost 25 medical students and getting their

reviews about the LGBTQs. We will try to convince them all about in collecting the stream of

funds from them.

Research Design

The research design is the overall strategy that we choose in order to address the research

problem by integrating different components of the study in a sequential and logical way. It may

be considered as the blueprint for the measurement, analysis and collection of data. Research

design can be descriptive, Semi-Experimental, Experimental and Correlational etc (Smith, 2015).

The research design is supposed to be good if it contains the words like efficient, economical,

appropriate etc. The design is considered to be the best design if it contains less experimental

errors (Abdulkadiroğlu, Angrist, Narita, & Pathak, 2017).

Our research design is based on giving the rights to the LGBTQs in the society and to give them

the benefits. We will use the methods of qualitative and quantitative approaches for our research

work. We will do the survey analysis in order to investigate the social behavior of the people that

what are their views about giving rights to the LGBTQs. One of the techniques that we will use
Running Head: Research Methodology

for this is to make a questionnaire and this will contain all the questions that we want to get from

the society.

In this way we get the quantitative measure of the data that how many of people are agreed of

giving rights to the LGBTQs and who do not want to give rights to LGBTQs. For the qualitative

analysis of the data we will conduct the interviews directly from the people or from the group of

the people. If we found that data collected is not enough then we move towards the school,

colleges and universities and many medical centers in order to know about their views about the

LGBTQs. We will address the people about the rights of the LGBTQs and try to convince them

that they are important part of our society.

Our research was intended in order to build the social awareness in the people about the

LGBTQs. After collecting the data I will use the CARMA tool in order to arrange the data in

sequences and the problems which the nonprofit organization will face in making the stream of

funding. There will be a need for our research to need approvals at some stages. Institutional

Research Board will give the approval for our research and our research will begin and we will

start the collection of data.

Data Collection

The data collection is the collection of information from different sources in order for a specific

task. It is used in gathering and measuring information about the specific program. These data

can be used in addressing the answering the research questions (Orkin, 2014). These are also be

used in test hypothesis and in evaluating the outcome. The data collection can be used for the

qualitative and quantitative research. The quantitative data collection based on the random

sampling or the measurable quantities (Palinkas, Horwitz, Green, Wisdom, Duan, & Hoagwood,
Running Head: Research Methodology

2015). The data which is gained by the quantitative data analysis is easy to summarize and easy

to compare with the others.

Data collection can be done by identifying the issue and the opportunities in collecting the data

(Taylor, Bogdan, & DeVault, Introduction to qualitative research methods: A guidebook and

resource. , 2015). After identifying the issues select the issue about which we want to get the

information and then set the goals of searching the data. After selecting the data we plan about

the sources from which we collect the data. After that collection of data will be started. The data

collection can be qualitative and quantitative. In our research we will use the both the

quantitative and qualitative collection of data.

For our quantitative collection of data we will do the survey from the people about their reviews

of giving the rights to the LGBTQs. We will use different resources in collection of data. We

will use many articles about the rights of LGBTQs. The journal papers will be helpful in the

collection of data. Society plays an important role in the rights of LGBTQs. Most of the

LGBTQs are emotionally attacked from the society. We will take a survey form the people

regarding of giving rights to the LGBTQs.

We will go to different states regarding of giving rights to the LGBTQs. We will use the

investigation tool of questionnaire and ask from the people about giving rights to the LGBTQs.

After taking the survey we get the quantitative data that how many of the people want to give

rights to LGBTQs and how many of them do not want to give them rights. After the

questionnaire analysis we will be able to know about the people objections of not giving rights to

the LGBTQs.
Running Head: Research Methodology

We will also conduct the interviews from the people and try to know about their views regarding

the rights of LGBTQs. We will also want to know about their problems regarding the LGBTQs

and also question them that why they hate from the LGBTQs. Society plays an important role in

giving rights to the LGBTQs. The LGBTQs are always emotionally attacked by the society.

LGBTQs are considered to be second citizen in the world. If the society has no problem with

them then the path will be smooth in giving rights to the LGBTQs.

The financial data, article and the detail description of the cases regarding the rights of the

LGBTQs will be done with the help of data collection (Obe & Hsu, 2015). Internet is the river of

data. There is much more information available on the internet about the rights of LGBTQs. The

main trusted sources on the internet are the peer review Journal which is available on the internet

about the rights of LGBTQs. They are considered to be the main trusted sources on the Internet.

We will also include the document of the nonprofit IRS 990 form, nonprofit government reports,

policies, peer-reviewed publications in our research. These will be helpful about the stream of

the funds that is generated for the LGBTQs rights. Many of the nonprofit organizations are

already working for the LGBTQs like the Ali Forney Center, GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight

Education Network), The Door, Immigration Equality and the PFLAG (Parents and Friends of

Lesbian and Gays) etc. Bulk of data can be collected from them.

We will conduct many officials interview with the key nonprofit policy makers and decision-

makers in order to get the information about giving rights to LGBTQs. We will contact with

them as they are related to HRC (Human Rights Campaign) and its organization. HRC is the

largest organization which is located in United States. Its motto is to give rights to LGBTQs. It is
Running Head: Research Methodology

formatted in 1980 and still working for the rights of LGBTQs. It is the non-profit advocacy

organization.

The official interviews with these policy maker and the decision makers are proved to be very

helpful in achieving our aim of research. From such interviews we will get more data about

giving rights to LGBTQs. These organizations like HRC and its organization will help us a lot in

getting the rights to the LGBTQs. They will also help us in generating the stream of funds of

getting the right for the LGBTQs. We will also survey in the school and institute that what our

young generation thinks about the LGBTQs rights.

Data Analysis

Data analysis means the analysis of the data. It is the process of inspecting, transforming and

help to model the data with the goal of getting the useful information, conclusions and

supporting the decision making strength (Wickham, 2016). There are two methods of doing the

data analysis one is quantitative and other is qualitative. Different types of techniques are used

for the analysis of the qualitative data. We did the analysis of the qualitative data with the help of

interviews and the observations (Thomson & Emery, 2014).

The analysis of the quantitative data is done with the help of experiments and the surveys. These

are included in the quantitative research of the data (Neuman & Robson, 2014). There are some

researches for which these methods are not enough for the results. However, we move to the next

step for the analysis of data. These methods are not enough because there are some cases which

are more basic in nature while others are more specific in nature. Data analysis is also called data

modeling (Gelman, Carlin, Stern, Dunson, Vehtari, & Rubin, 2014).

Running Head: Research Methodology

In our research for the data analysis we will use two types of techniques. The first stage is the

event mapping and the second stage is the analytical tool which is the CARMA (Critical Action

Research Matrix Application). We will do the event mapping in order to find out the sequences

of the major events which happened in the history of the nonprofit organizations (Getz & Page,

2016) (Galaskiewicz, 2016). It also includes the events which became the hurdle in generating

the funding stream for the beneficiaries of the LGBTQs.

We will also use the CARMA tool for the analysis of the data. CARMA is the information

integration tool that helps us to integrate the data collecting from many data sources. The data

sources can be databases, text files, spreadsheets and KML etc. This is the best technique for the

collection of the data. By using this technique we will able to integrate all the information and

then sequence it according to our choice that at which time we will that type of information.

By using the CARMA we will be able to model our data. After the modeling of the data we will

be able to publish our data as the RDF and able to store it on the database. The event mapping

can be used to cover all the significant and the major events that happen in the history of the non-

profit organization. CARMA is applied at the final stage of the model for the construction of the

research. CARMA is basically used to model our data according to the specification.

Nonprofit organization will encounter many problems relating to the funding stream. The data

analysis will help us in finding those problems that proves to be the hurdle in the passage of

funding stream. After knowing the problems CARMA is applied is order to model the research.

This will help us to critically analyze the gathered data. This will also help us in finding the

similarities and difference within the funding streams and the procedures which are used by the

nonprofit organizations.
Running Head: Research Methodology

The data which is gathered through the studying policies of the nonprofit will be converted into

the units of information by utilizing an analysis technique and that is theme analysis. After

converting the data into the units of information these information will be converted into

categories based on similar content and the meaning. This can be done with the help of

comparative analysis tool. The final step in the data analysis will involve the description of the

theme in the context of directing the three questions in the study.

Scope of Nonprofit Organizations

Nonprofit organization are organized which works for the benefits of the people. They are

designed for specific purposes. The members, directors and other officers that are working in the

NPO do not contribute in the income of the nonprofit organization. They are sometimes referred

as the Non-stock Corporation. The main advantage of such organization is that they do not have

to pay the federal taxes. These are formed for the religious, charitable, scientific and education

purposes (Galaskiewicz, 2016).

These nonprofit organization works by the funding that they obtained from the people. They

mainly get funding from the general public, government and from the private foundations. They

mainly pay their employees with that funding (Bryson, Strategic planning for public and

nonprofit organizations: A guide to strengthening and sustaining organizational achievement.,

2018). In our research nonprofit organization plays an important role in making the stream of

funding. They work for the LGBTQs in order to give them equal rights as the other couples have

in the country. There are many companies working for the rights and benefits of the LGBTQs.

As the nonprofit organization is tax free and they are free from the federal taxes so that why they

did this work to such organization (Hopkins, 2017). The work of this nonprofit organization is
Running Head: Research Methodology

that they have to generate the funding stream in order to fight against the rights and benefits of

the LGBTQs. These organizations are not allowed to perform any kind of propaganda against the

state (Berman, 2015). They have to work with calm and pleasure behavior.

Many of the nonprofit organizations are already working for the LGBTQs like the Ali Forney

Center, GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network), The Door, Immigration

Equality and the PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays) etc. This nonprofit

organization is also designed for the LGBTQs. Its basic purpose is to help the LGBTQs

community in getting the living rights and some additional rights.

Some Corporations, community chests, trusts and limited liability corporations (LLC) are also

involved in this nonprofit organization but under some specific conditions. They all are operated

by National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities. This National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities was

developed and is operated by the Internal Revenue Service and by the National Center for

Charitable Statistic. These nonprofit organizations are working day and night for the benefits of

LGBTQs.

Discussion

The LGBTQs should not be done as it raises a negative impact on the young children. The

LGBTQs are considered to be third class community in the society. The LGBTQs feel ashamed

in order to reveal their relation. They are emotionally attacked by the society. In the USA

military many of the men are gays and they do not perform well in the wars. However, USA

make a decision of not admit those men in the army who are gays and start admitting the ladies

in their army.
Running Head: Research Methodology

The crimes against the LGBTQs are increasing day by day. They are considered to be the third

class people. No organization gives them any kind of job in order to work in their organization.

They feel ashamed in going to café, restaurant, bar or even the nightclub because of their sexual

orientation and the gender identity. They do not want to visit a faith service because of their

sexual orientation. They do not even go to attend the live sporting event because of the fear of

being emotionally attacked by the society.

Many of the people from the society do not like the LGBTQs community because of their sex

orientation and identity gender. They do not give equal rights to the LGBTQs as other normal

couple has in the society. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) always fights for the rights of

LGBTQs in the society. They do so much for the LGBTQs so that people like them and give

them equal rights in the society and respect them which they deserve.

A lot of celebrities from our industry also support the Human Right Campaign (HRC) and

appreciates their efforts like Lady Gaga, Brad Pitt, Sarah Jessica Parker, Betty DeGeneres, Cyndi

Lauper and many more people. LGBTQs are ignored by the society and considered to be the

third class people so they have developed their own cultural traditions and practices. In Europe

countries it is allowed to marry with the same gender but in many Asian countries like Saudi

Arabia, Middle East etc it is strictly not allowed and death is the punishment.

The transgender are consider to be third class community and have not given so much

importance in the society but research have shown that the children who came from transgender

people are physically more stronger than the normal children. Everyone has its own choice and

has its own life no one has the right to interfere in some life. God has made all the human beings
Running Head: Research Methodology

and all are equal. If anyone who belongs to LGBTQs than it is their choice we should gave them

equal rights as the other citizens.
