III. DIDACTIC STEPS

INPUT TIME

- The teacher greets the students fostering an environment of confidence in the classroom.
- The teacher presents a shopping list and pictures of different food items.
- Students put the food items on the shopping bag according to the shopping list. 15´
- The teacher circles words like: bag, box, carton, etc. and ask the students: What do we use these words for? What do you
think “box” means? With what kind of food do we use these words?

PROCESS

- The teacher introduces the topic and writes the tittle on the board.
- The teacher presents common containers of food with pictures.
- Students practice pronunciation.
- Students try to complete what kind of food we use with different containers. The teacher corrects any mistakes. 45’
- Students look at the pictures and produce their own examples with teacher’s help.
- Students complete the sentences according to the food item.
- Students complete questions and answers according to the pictures. Then, they ask and answer the questions orally.

OUTPUT

- In order to check students’ comprehension some practice sheets are delivered. 20´
- Students check their comprehension by answering: What did I learn today?

Means and materials: Wall charts, board and chalks.
