of the incoming waste.Inlet section can also be integrated with a blowermechanism to dehumidify the waste input in thesystem.Range for the inductive proximity sensor can beincreased.Provisions can be made for on spot decompositionof wet waste. GSM contraption to intimate to the nearest industryto use the metals collected. Plastics can be segregated from the collected drywaste and also be processed based on their types,grades and colors. Thus further separation of dry waste can also be done.

CHAPTER 7
CONCLUSION
The waste segregator as the name suggests, segregatesthe waste into three major classes: dry, wet, metallic. The inlet section is provided with open and closemechanism to regulate the flow of waste on to the conveyor. Inductive proximity sensor is used to detect themetallic waste. The signal from the proximity sensorinitiates the push mechanism to discard the metallicwaste.A blower mechanism is used to segregate dry and wetwaste.The timing and movement of the conveyor belt iscontrolled by PIC18F452 microcontroller. Continuous andunnecessary operation of any particular section is thusavoided.
