This is an introductory level course in chemical process dynamics and control. The topics that
will be included in this subject are fundamentals and concepts of control system,
development of theoretical and empirical model for chemical and physicals processes,
dynamic behavior of processes, application of Laplace transform and transfer function, block

advanced process control and computer simulation/analysis. By completing this subject,
students should be able to emphasize issues relevant to process knowledge; process
behavior, process operation and automatic control.
By the end of semester, students should be able to:
