B class sterilizer is proper to sterilize all the medical devices

such as wrapped or non-wrapped solid instruments, hollow
type instruments, all of the porous products, liquid products,
regardless of package and load type.
HANSHIN's B class sterilizers are an exclusive small size
steam sterilizer capable of sterilizing and drying the items
which are hard to be sterilized in perfect and safely including
hollow loads such as tube or endoscope, and porous loads
such as sponges or textile within the shortest time by powerful
air removal system applying pressure pulse, and are fully

It’s O.K with Minimum Cycle Time that from Pre-Vacuum Sterilization
through Post-Vacuum Drying !!

Until recently air removal of chamber and drying based on the employ of the vacuum system has been used
exclusively for the large steam sterilizer. Our company has adopted the vacuum system for the small sterilizer
despite the various restrictions, thereby satisfying the requirements of the standards (MDD) of EU. This is very
meaningful that air removal based on the pre-vacuum system is adopted in sterilizing the wrapped items and the
drying based on the post vacuum system is also very important in the sense that the drying of sterilized items is
as important as sterilization.

In sterilization, it is important to ensure that the sterilant contacts with the entire
surface of the goods to be sterilized. To make this possible, all the air inside the
goods and the pack should be removed. It was almost impossible to remove
completely air bubbles in hollow loads, such as those in tubes, not to mention
the air bubbles in porous loads like the sponges. Our company has worked
hard to develop a table-top steam sterilizer of the high-degree vacuum type,
which can pass the Hollow Load A Test (Helix test) within 134 / 3.5min - the
shortest time ever. Meeting European Standards, the Hollow Load A Test is
used to check the ability to remove air from hollow loads. By passing this test,
this product has obtained CE mark of Europe thus becoming the next
generation’s advanced technology.

This sterilizer uses saturated steam as sterilizing medium, which is generated from water
heated directly by built-in heater in the chamber, and has been improved sterilizing and drying
efficiency drastically by powerful vacuum air removal. Sterilizing processes are proceeded
automatically by microprocessor control, and self diagnosis program monitors the cycle
performance in real time. Sterilizer also has a printer for printing out the cycle performance

Realized a B-Class Steam Sterilizer of “the Economical Price but Satisfying
Performance”!
These CE certified B-class steam sterilizers are capable of sterilizing and drying the items which are hard
to be sterilized in perfect and safely including hollow loads such as tube or endoscope and porous loads
such as sponges or textile within the shortest time by powerful air removal system applying pressure pulse,
and are fully satisfying the conditions of Hollow Load A Test (Helix test) regulated to European Standards.
5 kinds of basic cycle program for sterilizing in accordance with items to be sterilized and packaging type, 2
kinds of test program, a self-diagnosis program which detects the operating error during cycle executing
and generates the audible alarm signal and displays the error code digitally on the LED panel in case of
occurring an error, and then aborts the executing cycle at the same time automatically for the safety of work
are embedded in the sterilizers. The panel printer(optional item) can be equipped to print out the cycle
performance record for securing the traceability afterwards.

Control Box
Operating Panel :
[TEMP./ PRESSURE] LED displays the actual temperature and pressure inside chamber in turn during
executing a cycle, [TIME] LED displays the remaining time of each phase. The pressing keys that have
the functions such as parameter value change, cursor move, cycle select, cycle START/STOP are
equipped on the panel for operating and controlling the sterilizer effectively.

Interlock :

filters outside air supplied into the chamber during
the vent and drying phase. It prevents sterilized items
from a recontamination by bacteria in the air.

Vacuum Drying System Minimizes the Wet Pack Problem after the
Completion of Sterilization.
All the functions of sterilizer such as fill, heat, sterilize, vent, dry and completion are automatically
proceeded and monitored in real time by a microprocessor. Operator can check the present temperature,
remaining time of sterilization and dry, proceeding phase and water level in reservoir on the front panel of
sterilizer. The built-in self-diagnosis program generates the warning signal and display the error code on the

This unique vertical type steam sterilizer is the most effective for sterilizing liquid loads at
the clinical laboratory, and especially has the exclusive cycle program for Retort Pouch
Products (optional).

Feature
1. Liquid and Retort(optional function) sterilization require a special condition as compared with other
sterilization. So, this sterilizer adopted the liquid cycle and retort cycle(optional) program with dual
temperature sensor(chamber and liquid sensor) which controls the sterilization temperature(121.0 ) and
exhaust temperature(80.0 ) of the liquid contained bottle and retort pouch. This special cycle enables to
prevent the liquid and retort pouch load from boiling over or bursting.
2. User doesn’t need to open the door when drying phase due to its use of vacuum pump, hence moisture retained by
the fabric package shall not exceed 2% than original weight after drying.
3. This sterilizer, adopting vertical chamber, may enlarge its capacity more than tabletop sterilizer. It may be used
conveniently even at narrow place for featuring large capacity.
4. It can process most safely culture medium or the glassware in the clinical examination or the laboratory of the
research institute; especially, it is useful when processing the liquids contained in a large glass bottle.

Cut and Seal the Roll Pouch for sterilizing with One Machine !!
Using the special designed machine for cutting and sealing the
roll pouch is recommended because the sterilized items may be
contaminated if the pouch is damaged while sterilizing or
conserving. This machine cuts and seals the sterilizing pouch
roll in one unit, therefore it is convenient and economical due to
require less space for working.

HCS-400

1. The entire processing is controlled automatically and displayed digitally on the LED display by a microprocessor.
2. If the cutting length and quantity are already set in the machine, the roll pouch is attracted to the pouch inlet
automatically and the set quantities of pouch that are sealed bottom side are produced after cutting in the set
length.
3. The pouch contained the items to be sterilized is sealed automatically if the upper side of pouch is inserted in the
sealing inlet, and sealing can be done manually by connecting the foot switch.
4. The set sealing temperature is maintained constantly by the PID control.
5. The appliance table with drawers for collecting the cut pouches and roll stand with multi shelf are provided in option.
