Rules and Regulations for competitions:


1. Maximum team members are one or two.
2. All Participants are required to report 30 min before the event starts, to the reporting
desk.
3. Every participant should have his college id card or at least one proof of identity.
4. All the teams are required to bring the registration receipt with them.
5. Any misbehavior of participant during event/rounds may lead to disqualification.
6. Absent participants will be automatically disqualified. .
7. All the rights are reserved with Event Organizer committee.
8. In case of any disputes, final wording will remain with the organizers. Decision of the
judges is final.
9. Any damage to college property will be seen to by higher authority and dealt with
accordingly.
Design of Water Bottle as a Rocket:
Participants have to use only Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottles of one or two litre volume.
Participant can design bottle as per their wish.

All materials required for crafting and launching the rocket-


1. Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottles of one or two litre
2. Tools
3. Nozzles
4. Air pump (Will Be Provided by the Organization)
5. Launching pad (Will Be Provided by the Organization)
NOTE:-
The competitors will be required to craft 2 rockets, as there will be 2 rounds of the
competition as below
Round-1
1. In the first round, the competitors will be required to launch their rockets, and the results
will be declared on the basis of the distance traveled by the rocket from the launching
pad.
2. “At the time of the launch, the competitor may adjust the volume of water, and air
pressure.” The competitors in the top 6 ranks will be qualified for the second round
Round-2

1. The 6 qualifiers of the first round are expected to take their positions at their respective
launching pad within 30 minutes after the first round ends
2. “In this round the air pressure must not exceed 5.5 atm”.
3. In this round, the competitors will be given a horizontal target.
4. After the competitors launch their rockets, the distance will be measured from the center
of the target to the rocket’s landed area, and will be graded accordingly

Sugar rocket-

A. Eligibility For Sugar Rocket Competition-

1. The rocket is not supposed to be longer than 80 cm.


2. Any material can be used as per your convenience for the rocket body.
3. The weight should not cross the limit of 1.5kg.
4. Rocket fuel tank has maximum volume of 50 cu.cm, you can choose height and radius
for your rocket tank.

NOTE: if you have overcame all the conditions given above, then and then only you are
eligible for the launch.
B. Provided Material-
1. A launchpad will be provided with a vertical rocket holding rod of diameter 1 cm.
C. Requirements-

1. Everyone must add a standard wire holder clip to the rocket to hook it to the given
holding rod.
2. The team must go through eligibility round where the professionals will be asking the
chemicals and its proportion you are been using in your rocket as a fuel.
3. Rocket ignition must be arranged by the competitors.
4. Every participates must take precautions towards their rocket, especially during their
landing.
B. Rules and regulations for sugar rocket-
1. Every team will be given 2 chances to launch your rocket.
2. Only the eligible competitors will be allowed to compete.
3. The height will be calculated using trigonometry and the highest altitude reached will be
considered a winner.
4. You will be getting enough time of an hour in case of damage and re-establishing the
rocket.
5. Igniting the rocket, the proportion of fuel, design of the rocket are the concern of
competitor.
6. Directive measure must be taken by the competitor for their respective rockets and they
must make sure their rockets are safe enough to launch.
7. The institution will not be responsible for the loss and damage of your property.
8. Maximum rocket height is 80cm.
9. Rocket fuel tank has maximum volume of 50 cu.cm, you can choose height and radius
for your rocket tank.
