Lesson Plan in Mathematics 7

The lesson plan introduces statistics to students. It defines statistics and explains its basic concepts, uses, and importance. Examples of statistical statements are presented to illustrate statistics in daily life. Students learn about collecting and organizing raw data, and presenting it in a clear format. The lesson emphasizes how statistics is applied in various fields such as business, government, science and more. Students participate in an activity and evaluation to apply their new statistical knowledge. For homework, they design and carry out a survey to practice collecting and presenting data.
