What is InvestTrack?

InvestTrack is a comprehensive Portfolio Tracker* that provides a consolidated view of your


Mutual Fund Investments, HDFC Life Policies, Savings, Current & FD Account Balances

How do you execute a transaction under InvestTrack?

To execute a transaction in a new folio, click on Order Mgmt ->> MF ->> Order Capture.

To execute a transaction in an existing folio:


1. Click on “Online Inv” in the Portfolio summary. The ISA account number(s) will be
displayed under that Portfolio.
2. Click on the ISA account number to view the current holdings. Against each holding
you will be able to view 3 options namely Subscribe/ Redeem / Transfer.
3. Click on the required option to proceed.

What are the features of InvestTrack ?

This unique portfolio tracker offers you a host of benefits including,

 A Single screen for Order execution which will enable you to Subscribe, Redeem
and Switch schemes, as well as invest in NFOs & SIPs.
 Additional Purchases/Redemptions/Switches/SIPs can be done in the existing
schemes
 The ISA Order screen displays the current real time Savings/Current Account
balance
 Online portfolio will give you details of all the active ISA's available in your portfolio.
 Multiple Folio details are now visible which are generated by the AMCs.
 Order cancellation is available for changes to your order before the cut off time.

You will also be able to view Savings Account/Current Account/Fixed


Deposit/Recurring Deposit details apart from your Online Mutual Fund Investments.

What is a Networth?

Networth displays your total account net worth, including Savings and Current Account
balances, fixed deposits and held away portfolios.
What is a Portfolio Summary?

The portfolio Summary section displays an overview of all the portfolios held by you. This
includes unrealized gains or losses as well as returns since inception. You can click on the
link to see the performance of each portfolio on various parameters.

What is displayed under Mutual Fund Products?

The “Mutual Fund Products” option has five tabs viz. Equity, Debt, MIP, Others and
Commentary. The others category comprises of additional options such as liquid and
arbitrage funds. In Commentary, you will find the latest market updates. This Section
provides our bank‟s in-house research desk‟s recommendations for investments.

What is displayed under Asset Allocation?

This section offers a tabular as well as graphical representation of your Actual and
recommended Asset Allocation. The recommended Asset Allocation is based on the risk
profiler you have submitted earlier. You can simulate the field by clicking the Simulator
icon. The Actual Asset Allocation field displays the actual asset allocation across various
asset classes on three parameters, Viz. Overall, Bank and Customer which are your
holdings outside the bank.

What do you mean by Recommended and Actual Asset Allocation?

Based on the profiler you submitted earlier, a risk profile is been derived. Based on this, the
optimum Debt, Equity, Liquid and other asset class percentage has been recommended
which is your “Recommended Asset Allocation”. What you actually hold is the Actual Asset
Allocation. This helps in providing a deviation to your portfolio and can be seen on the
dashboard

What is Portfolio by Instrument Group?

It offers a tabular as well as graphical representation of your overall portfolio grouped by


Instrument type. You can click on the simulator icon for a detailed portfolio analysis on
various parameters.

What is Portfolio maintenance?

Portfolio Maintenance manages and records all your holdings. The portfolio valuation option
offers an expanded view and shares a detailed overview of all your portfolios at a glance.
Portfolio Valuation maintains a record of the current market value of the different types of
instrument in your portfolio. Each valuation record further represents the security holdings
and their associated values, as of the validation date
What is a Portfolio Analysis?

Portfolio Analysis delivers insight into the factors that make your portfolio move, and
illustrates how investment decisions affect your portfolio performance. Your holdings are
displayed in a tabular as well as graphical format. Your holdings are categorized by different
dimensions, such as asset classes, industry, currency, region, market capitalization,
instrument group and type. These different dimensions in turn, can help you evaluate your
recent trading history.

What is an Order Mgmt?

It is in the Order Capture section, and is a single screen for Order execution, which will
allow you to place an order to Subscribe, Redeem or Switch your mutual fund investments
as well as invest in New Fund Offers & Systematic Investment Plans.

What is MF Systematic Plan Maintenance?

MF Systematic Plan Maintenance enables you to view the SIPs already maintained. You
also have an option to cancel future investments in the scheme if you wish to discontinue it.

What are Bank and Non-Bank Investments on dashboard?

Bank Investment consists of all investments held/done with the Bank and Non-Bank
Investments are the one which are outside HDFC Bank which can be/have been manually
added by you.

What does Ext Invt Tracker consists of?

Ext Invt Tracker consists of your Non-Bank Portfolio i.e. investments made offline or outside
HDFC Bank in Equity and Mutual Funds which can be added through this option. You also
have an option under this section called the „Customer Transaction Search‟ which will help
you identify and delete any erroneous entry.

Are the recommendations mentioned in dashboard individual specific according risk


profile?

No, these are common recommendations.

What are the different types of alerts available?

There are two types of alerts - portfolio alerts and system alerts. Portfolio alerts will help
you set personal alerts at a portfolio/instrument level in absolute or percentage terms.
System alerts would be set by automatically on any Fixed Deposit /Fixed Mutual
Fund/Closed end funds which are due to mature.
Where can I view Research Recommendations?

You will be able to see MF recommendations and commentary from our research team on
the Customer Dashboard itself. You can also download the HDFC Bank Aag App where you
will able to see reports and the monthly AAG Magazine. The magazine provides guidance
and updates on the markets and various investment products like mutual funds, equity
funds, debt funds, bullion market, etc.

Can the reports be used for Taxation purpose ?

These reports are been prepared just to provide consolidated view of holdings and should
not be used as a reference point for Taxation purpose.

Why am I unable to view InvestTrack after clicking on the option in NetBanking?

Please check if the Pop-up blocker has been enabled on your browser which will prevent
InvestTrack from opening.

I am unable to see my Mutual Fund holdings in the Account Summary Page of


NetBanking?

Due to the transition to InvestTrack the total value of your Mutual Fund holdings may not
appear in the Account Summary Page. Please be assured that we are working to resolve
this and the details will be updated shortly.
