NOTICE
The United States Federal Communications Commission (in 47 CFR 15.105) has specified that the
following notice be brought to the attention of users of this product. This equipment has been tested and
found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is
operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely

Depending on your access rights, you may have access to the entire IER Terminal configuration
interface or only part of it.
There are three levels of identification depending on your specific access rights:
Level 0: Read rights for the standard IER Terminal parameters.
Level 1: Read rights for the standard IER Terminal parameters, configuration rights for data
connection characteristics (IP, USB, RS232), rights to reset the user resettable counter.
Level 2: Read and modification rights for all IER Terminal parameters.

Note: To be able to access the events page, Level 2 access rights are required.
IMPORTANT: The events displayed are those having occurred since the last IER Terminal
power up.
Powering down the IER Terminal erases the event traces.

The available disk space page is displayed and informs you of the disk space used by each folder and
subfolder:
- The type of system file ("Filesystem")
- The disk space allocated to a specific folder ("1k-blocks"),
- The disk space used by a given folder ("Used"),
- The remaining space available for a given folder ("Available"),
- The percentage of the disk space used by a given folder ("Use %"),
- The name of the folder/file ("Mounted on"),

The Select Mode icon allows you to change the IER Terminal configuration, either:
- globally, by means of the Select Mode icon covering both, the Bag Tag and the ATB
application, or
- application by application, by means of the Select Mode icon specific to each (Bag Tag or
ATB) application.
IMPORTANT: The customer application installed on the IER Terminal will modify the
way the operating mode is handled.
Operating mode configuration is different for each application (Bag Tag or ATB (Boarding Pass)).
The Select Mode page is displayed with the parameter menu shown below:

The two function status windows below illustrate the various possibilities you have to modify the
parameters:
- Modify a function value:
by typing the required values or characters
by selecting another value in the pull-down menu
- Reselect the current value by clicking Running value
- Reset the factory settings by clicking Default value
- Cancel the modification by clicking CANCEL
- Apply a change by clicking OK
