The software update advantages are:

 the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system update to 5.0 Lollipop;


 a newer interface for the fast settings menu;
 a newer interface for the Settings app;
 adding some new apps.

ATTENTION! This software update is a BETA version and it is offered to users


for testing. According to the received feedback the software version will be optimized.

ATTENTION! The tablet's battery needs to be fully charged before starting the procedure!

ATTENTION! Please do not stop under any circumstance the update operation.

The software's upgrade is an operation which is realised on your own responsibility by


following exactly the steps below.
To update the software version of the Allview Speed Quad tablet it is necessary to
follow the next steps:

1. Download the Update_Speed_Quad_02.03.2015.zip archive into a PC or laptop.


2. By unzipping, a folder will result with a PhoenixSuit_EN.exe installer file and an IMG file.
3. From the resulted folder install the PhoenixSuit_EN.exe tool:

4. Continue the installation by pressing: NEXT->NEXT:


5. Press NEXT and install the driver. In case you are running Windows 7/8, the driver will install
automatically.
6. After the successful driver installation, the tool's complete installation will be finished by pressing
“Close”.
7. Open the PhoenixSuit.exe tool (it creates automatically a shortcut on the desktop) and press the
“Firmware” option.
8. Press the IMAGE tool's option and select the Update_Speed_Quad_02.03.2015.img
file from the resulted folder:
9. Connect the USB cable to the computer, then, on the shut down tablet you will press the ““Volume –“
key and at the same time the micro USB port is inserted in the tablet. Keep pressed the “Volume - “ key
and then press successively the Power key until a new window appears and that asks for the installation
of a driver.
10. Please press Next, and the driver will install automatically.
11. After the driver's installation, the message from the image below will be displayed. Confirm it by
pressing Yes -> Yes.
12. The update procedure will start automatically and it will be pointed by a status bar.
13. The software update completion will be displayed on the screen according to the message from the
image below:

ATTENTION!! The tablet will start automatically after the termination of the software update
and it will take more than a normal boot sequence.
