Preconditions: FerData is an existing database containing details
regarding nutrients, soil conditions, crops, crop needs.

Postconditions: 1) Successful: Generating optimal combination of fertilizer


mix.
2) Failed: Fails to create a solution.

1. User shall open FerData(Access)


Success Scenario: 2. User shall enter Crop, Variety,Fertilizer Application
Method,Growig Method, Yied Goal, Growth Stage.
3. User shall enter lab results of soil conditions.
4. OFERS will generate a solution.
5. User shall save/print the report.
6. User will exit the application.
Alternate Scenario: 1. Problems opening the application
a. User shall make sure the Computer matches the
minimum Software and Hardware requirements.
b. User shall try to open the application again.
c. User shall coordinate with company point of
contact and raise this issue
2. Unable to generate report.
a. User shall re-enter details.
b. User shall generate report on these conditions.

3. Unable to Login
a. User shall request admin for reset password.
b. Admin shall login and grant request.
c. User will enter new password.
d. User shall click save
e. User shall click close
f. User shall click exit to exit out of the application

The frequency of Use: System shall be available to the user on their computers.

Title: Create a Customized Fertilizer Mix

Description: Enables user/Lab Technician to create his own fertilizer mix


solution and save for future use.
Primary Actor: User
FerData
Preconditions: FerData is working effeciently and is connected to MS Access
DB

Postconditions: 1) Successful: New solution is entered and saved


successfully.
2) Failed: Unable to save new solution data

1. User shall open OFERS.


Success Scenario: 2. User shall see a form.
3. User shall click on CREATE NEW SOLUTION
4. User shall select the crop.
5. User shall select the variety from available dropdown.
6. User shall select Fertilizer Application Method from
Dropdown.
7. User shall select growing method.
8. User shall enter Yield.
9. User shall select growth stage from dropdown.
10. User will choose fertilizers and tick checkbox.
11. User shall enter the Units per/gram for each fertilizer.
12. User shall save.
13. User shall exit OFERS.

Alternate Scenario: 1) Problems saving the SOLUTION.


a. User shall confirm all * asterisk marked fields are
filled.
b. User shall fill the missed-out details.
c. User shall click save
d. User shall click close
e. User shall click exit to exit out of the application

The frequency of Use: System shall be available to the user on their computers.
