THON is a student-run philanthropy committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted
by childhood cancer.

• Independently raised over $14,500 and was selected to dance in the 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping
dance marathon
Special Events Captain 2017-2018
• Plan and execute the THON 5K— the largest 5K in Centre County, PA
• Communicate with members of the community as well as other THON volunteers to receive permits
and donations necessary to execute the 5K and maintain the professional identity of THON
Donor and Alumni Relations—Alumni Engagement Captain 2016-2017
• Lead a group of 26 Committee Members by holding weekly meetings to teach them vital information
about THON and fundraising
