UPDATING THE

DENVER PIONEERS:
SINCE 2006, THE DU PIONEERS HAVE BEEN LIVING
UNDER AN IDENTITY BASED AROUND THEIR
WORDMARK. THE UNIVERSITY DROPPED THEIR
HAWK LOGO IN 2006 LEAVING THEM WITHOUT A
MASCOT LOGO.

I TOOK THE CHANCE TO EXAMINE THE OLD LOGOS


AND CURRENT BRAND AND FOUND A WAY TO
UPDATE THE PIONEERS WITHOUT DITCHING THE
CURRENT IDENTITY.

I STARTED BY MODERNIZING THE TEAMS ORIGINAL


BOONE LOGO FROM 1968-1998. FROM THERE I
BUILT THE IDENTITY THROUGH PARTIAL,
ALTERNATE, PRIMARY, AND WORDMARK LOGOS.
